It's an easy walk to Main Street, ferry terminal, shops, restaurants, waterfront, art galleries, Maine's Lobster Festival, North Atlantic Blues Festival and 2 art museums, Maine Lighthouse Museum, Project Puffin Visitor Center, Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, and others.

Within a 5 - 10 min drive you can reach hiking, lakes, Rockland Breakwater lighthouse, Owl's Head Lighthouse, Birch Beach, Crockett Beach, parks and trails, as well as two golf courses. Birders will enjoy the unique Weskeag Marsh in Owls Head and medical professionals have only a short drive to Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport, just 2.6 miles away!

While it is generally quiet during sleeping hours this location is in town so be prepared to hear the activities of the town. The sofa is not a bed.

I live on the premises in the upper unit with my sweet cat. I have a separate entrance. As your host I will do my best to accommodate your needs during your stay.
