Cocoonr Agency offers you, located on the 1st floor of a former bicycle factory, entirely renovated in the spirit of a workshop, Le Victor Hugo. It is right in the heart of Bordeaux, opposite the Grosse Cloche, between the St Pierre and St Michel districts, shops and restaurants. Le Victor Hugo offers you every comfort for an exceptional stay in Bordeaux.

It's fully furnished and equipped, so all you need to do is set down your suitcases. Just a few steps from all shops and transport links, this apartment offers you the following features:
- A main room with a small sitting area and a fully-equipped kitchen (microwave, kettle, coffee machine, hob, fridge).
- Mezzanine bedroom with queen-size bed (160x200)
- Bathroom with walk-in shower, WC and hairdryer.

Additional amenities: air conditioning, iron and ironing board, Netflix and bicycle garage.

Located in a popular and lively district, in the heart of the city, 50 meters from the Saint Pierre district (Old Bordeaux), 200 meters from rue Sainte Catherine (Europe's longest shopping street), cultural sites and public and ecological transport (bicycles, scooters, etc.).



A bit of history!
The Porte de Bourgogne is located at the end of the former Salinières moat, now the Cours Victor-Hugo (formerly Rue des Fossés), on the site of the former medieval Porte des Salinières. It marks the city's official entrance on the ancient road leading to Paris. Tourny wanted it to accompany the Place Royale (now Place de la Bourse), and consecrated it to Prince Monseigneur le Duc de Bourgogne on January 24, 1757.
For a time, it was the Porte Napoléon to celebrate the Emperor's arrival in Bordeaux in 1808.

- Self-service bicycles: Vcub station 50m away (1.60e for 24 h)

There are many places to visit in walkable distance, and basic amenities are provided. The apartment matches the pictures and features everything needed for a short stay. However, the walls are very thin, it almost feels like our neighbours are in the same apartment. We felt a little exposed. Also, there’s somewhat of a weird smell in the corridor and it was dusty in the apartment.

La literie est confortable et vous avez tout le nécessaire dont vous avez besoin. Nous avons seulement eu un problème d’eau froide avec la douche à notre arrivée mais ce fut réglé dans la journée, et ce même un jour férié. Encore merci pour votre réactivité. Seul inconvénient au logement, les murs n’étant pas très épais, on peut entendre les voisins bruyants."

Et la luminosité de l’appartement était magnifique, la décoration mixte moderne et baroque parfaite. Les équipements étaient récents.
