Leonard & Florence Place is a clean, comfortable home inside Ocean Lakes that has recently been refreshed to create a better experience for families. The home has been repainted, the second bedroom was completely remodeled, and new rugs, new bedding, and updated furniture were added to make the space feel brighter and more welcoming. The kids’ room now has new bunk beds with fresh mattresses, and the living room has new tables that make the space feel more open and comfortable. The kitchen has also been updated with a new exhaust fan and faucet, and the home now includes a brand‑new washer and dryer for added convenience.
One golf cart is included with your stay, making it easy to get around the campground. If your group needs a second cart, one can be added for an additional fee.
The home sleeps up to eight guests and is set up for families who want a peaceful, easy stay with simple access to everything Ocean Lakes offers. Guests often mention how comfortable the home feels after the recent updates and how convenient it is to have the golf cart ready to go.
There are plenty of things to enjoy during your downtime. Inside the home, you’ll find a Pac‑Man arcade machine, a dart board, and games for kids to play. The porch has a TV for relaxing outside in the evenings, and the outdoor area has new furniture that makes it easy to sit outside, cook on the grill, and enjoy the space together. Parking is simple, with room for two vehicles in the private driveway, following Ocean Lakes rules.
Ocean Lakes offers pools, beach access, playgrounds, mini golf, restaurants, and plenty of family activities — all just a short golf cart ride away. The goal is to provide a clean, updated, and peaceful place for your family to relax and enjoy your time at the beach. I’m always available to help with questions or anything you need during your stay, and I work hard to make sure your visit is smooth, comfortable, and exactly what you expect. Primary renter must be 32 or older. Rental agreement is required to book.

It was ok

When we arrived it was easy to get in. Our first night there I was woke up by a big water bug crawling on me under the sheets. I told the homeowner about it and she said they spray twice a year. The next night I was sitting in the living room watching tv and by the couch I seen another water bug. At this point I was ready to leave cause I don’t like bugs. But I paid too much money for this house plus it was our first time in oceanlakes. So I decided to stay. I didn’t see anymore bugs the rest our stay. Other than the big incident our stay was good.

The property owner is very quick to respond. Golf cart was convenient. House had everything you need to cook or heat up food.

Great for family vacation!

The property and house were very clean! My daughter even commented several times on how clean the house smelled. Cathy has done a terrific job remodeling and upgrading. Having the golf cart included with the house was convenient, although the house is so close to the beach its just a short walk straight down the street. New towels and soft linens were a bonus. Cathy was prompt with her replies and easy to communicate with. As a mother of an 11 and 12 year old, I would recommend this rental for family vacation. Thank you, Faith

Very disappointed in property management

House was a mess, porch ceiling fan was only placed not screwed in and flew off when we turned it on..dirty clothes found under the bed and a wet diaper full of urine found next to what was supposed to be clean towels and when we went to use the towels there was fresh makeup on two of them in what was supposed to be clean bath… there were also glasses put up in the cabinet that were dirty and wet with moisture in on multiple glasses and dirty forks with dried food on them…

Decent place for a last minute booking

If you like staying at ocean lakes, this place is alright. It’s within eyesight of the beach (approx 2 minute golf cart ride). The pictures are a little misleading. The place is a tiny trailer with an add on. It’s very tiny and looks like it was just thrown together. It definitely needs a lot of TLC given the price. A lot of things were broken. We had to purchase WD40 because the keys were sticking, rope because the golf cart was broken and pliers to unbend the house keys. Doors were jammed and some of the floors torn. I personally wouldn’t stay here again but for a last minute booking, it was decent. The owner was nice and responsive to messages.

Summer Vacation - College Bound18yr old son...

We decided late to book a week in Ocean Lakes to allow our son, soon going to college to spend time with his many friends doing the same within Ocean Lakes. Our property for that week with the owner exceeded our expectations! The owner is passionately always improving this property and we will return for a future stay!

Clean but…

Home was clean, and was mostly up to date for what it was. Property owner scheduled construction while we were there. Make sure you take photos of everything due to the cleaning people or whomever checks on the property may not be accurate with broken items and such. Property owner was easy to get ahold of I will say that. Very over priced, but needed a home for vacation so we had to settle. Overall not bad.

Adequate property, difficult manager

Be sure to read all of the warnings and fees in the listing. They are also posted throughout the house warning you of all the penalties. The owner/manager puts her phone number in the listing but refuses to talk to you--text only through VRBO. The dishwasher had dishes left in it. The golf cart was unplugged and dead when we arrived and was not clean but filled with sand. We didn't really care but there was no apology just defensive accusation that we were wrong and that it had been plugged in. Also, the cost is deceiving. With all the extra fees it cost four hundred eighty a night--not worth it for a trailer. The table and chairs we're loose but luckily my screwdriver has changeable bits so I could tighten the table with one bit and use an allen bit on the rest so we would be safe. I should have texted for her to fix it because she accused me of lying. Why would I even bring it up if they weren't lose? It seems to be a 30+ year old converted trailer and the front screen door stopped closing properly which we were accused of damaging. I should have requested for it to be repaired. I understand she has to be protective of her property but you will not be welcomed here. I have had nine vacation rentals and treat our guests with hospitality and respect. This person does not belong in this business. From what I understand from the neighbor, they really don't like to rent it.
