Located in Old Seagrove just three blocks from the beach, this upscale, single-level cottage will provide everyone with plenty of excellent beach vacation memories! The updated house features an easy floor plan with a bonus outside entertainment area and a large pool.

Sea Thyme is the perfect spot for your family to relax, with its private pool and barbecue area that is fun for all ages. When you're ready to venture out farther, you can take a short walk to Seaside, Watercolor, and Old Seagrove for fantastic local restaurants. Sea Thyme is close enough to walk or bike to everything - galleries, fine cuisine, a wine bar, bike trails, antiques, live theater, a family-run book store, a vinyl record store, outdoor bazaars, a farmers market, and coffee shops! Take a ride down to the Grayton Beach Hike & Bike Trail for a scenic tour of the area with friends and family. If you feel more adventurous, head to Point Washington State FoForest'sastern Lake for a leisurely ride. Being just off Highway 30A means easy access to everything, from artsy villages to Deer Lake State Park for hiking, fishing, and birdwatching. Walk down to the sugar sand beach to sunbathe, surf, boogie board, or build sandcastles, and rent jet skis, kayaks, and paddleboards to explore by water.

This home's luxurious, modern interior features vaulted ceilings, skylights, beautiful floors, and lots of natural light. The living room features an oversized sectional, comfortable chairs, and casual beach décor. The full kitchen has everything you need, from stainless steel appliances to ample counter space and plenty of dinnerware. YoYou'llave three breakfast bar stools where the kids can enjoy their afternoon snacks and socialize as you cook something extraordinary for your next family dinner. ThThere'seating at the dining table and off the dining room, while the private pergola deck includes a gas grill and an outdoor dining table.

The primary features of this home are the private outdoor entertainment area and the large pool, centrally connected from the living room via a bank of sliding glass doors. The screened patio features a 15-foot-by-27-foot pool with outdoor sectional seating and four loungers for relaxing. This spacious area is perfect for you and the family to relax into the night while keeping cool underneath the outdoor ceiling fan's cool breeze. The main bedroom has a private, contemporary bathroom.

After a day at the beach, come home to spritz away the sand under the home's outdoor shower before coming inside to watch your favorite show as the private washer/dryer knocks out all the dirty laundry. Central air-conditioning will keep everyone nice and cool during those hot summer months.

THINGS TO KNOW

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
3 days notification is required in order to heat the pool. A fee of USD 32 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool heat for your stay.
Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Family beach trip
I have stayed in many places on 30a and this was a great house for a family of 4. The positives are the inclosed private pool with covered patio, updated accommodations with large kitchen, nice dining area and living room as well as a heated outdoor shower to clean off after the beach. It is also close to Publix, a short walk to beach access and Seaside. I would have given it 5 stars but there was a little mold in the shower. Not bad but needs to be cleaned better. Also, we contacted management about setting the digital thermostat below 70 at night only. This request was denied. Just one degree lower would have been nice but we were told they would not allow it. Overall great house!

Cute place, TERRIBLE property management company
My family rented this cute house in Fla for spring break 2023. The terms require you to pay an additional cost per day to have the pool heated and you had to request this in advance of checking in. I had read reviews that others had issues with the pool being heated, but assumed this was a one-time issue. Boy was I wrong. It was significantly cold for March in Fla. The highs were in the 40s for a few days, so having a heated pool would have been great, since there wasn't much else to do. Unfortunately, when we arrived on Sat the pool was not heated. I called & texted with the property management company, Vacasa, and after 2 days of back and forth I was finally told they don't have people who work weekends and we'd have to wait until Monday. Monday rolls around and still no heat in the pool and no contact from Vacasa. I called three times, spoke to multiple managers, and each time I was told they'd resolve the issue and/or call me back. Neither happened. Tuesday comes and still no heat, no one has come by and the property management keeps telling me it's working and people come by; neither were accurate statements. Finally I received an email saying they'd give me a refund for 88% of what I paid. By this time, I was spent and over arguing with this company and took what I could get. I will NEVER rent from this property management company again. They were horrible, lacked urgency, didn't respond, nor did they fix the pool heater. I would warn the next renter that if you care about the pool being heated, do NOT rent this property because I bet, they are still "coming to fix it"! I feel bad for the owners of the property because this is a cute house in a great location, and they are getting negative reviews because of the company that manages their property.

Disappointed
To start, the house was very nice and juat roomy enough. The king bed was NOT comfortable. I rented this property specifically for the heated pool and the week we went the weather was supposed to be colder (40-50 at night and 60s during the day). I had called ahead 4 days in advance to pay for the pool to be heated for when we arrived to be able to swim all week. It was not heated when we arrived and I called the next day and they said we would be called and we were not. The 3rd day I called to check back and talked with 6 different people each time I called in. They were willing to upgrade us yo another property with a working heated pool for free, but it would take another 1-2 days to heat it! They said they could only refunded us part of the pool heating fee and maybe $70 for the "inconvenience". I'm not happy coming from a northern state to not be able to swim on my vacation when I paid for it.
