Pick up the Edisto Bike Path at the nearest cross street and discover the beauty and the unique features of this barrier sea island. Evenings spent outdoors on the screened porch can be graced with the sounds of wildlife. Even if you're visiting in order to disconnect, a basic cable package with TVs in every room and free wireless internet access are available if you're tempted. Sigh with relief that you’ve found a vacation miracle!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable and felt like sleeping on a box spring more than a mattress. House smelled of overwhelming cleaning product the whole time we were there. Bathtub drain was clogged with gross lumps of hair and barely drained and bathroom fan only made an insanely loud sound that made it impossible to use. House really needs some better maintenance and upgrades.

Love this Beach

Clean, neat, living room and kitchen are good sized. Enjoyed the screened in porch. This is our second time staying here, and will stay here again if we can.

Great beach house

We enjoyed the house! Was great for young kids and a short walk to the beach. The bed could have been a little more comfortable and curtains would go a long way. We loved the size of the kitchen and it had everything we needed.

I loved the location and that the house was fully stocked with all the dishes and pots and pans needed. The living room furniture was very comfy! The beds were not comfortable at all however, and the amount of roaches (not sure what they are, but they are HUGE AND FAST!). They were all over the house, most were dead, or in some state of dying, but there is clearly an infestation on this home. The house could use a deep cleaning. I can only imagine how many bugs are behind the couch as this is where they always seemed to run to. It’s a nice house with great potential once it’s properly cleaned and the bugs are under control.

Nature, Shade & a Short Walk To The Beach

The house was amazing for location. Just a short walk to the Beach. We also had deer wander through the neighborhood in the evening. It was an amazing experience to observe them up close from the front porch. Quite neighborhood! We enjoyed our stay very much!

Awesome stay!

Everything about this rental was amazing! If I had to comment on one thing it would be that the couch and loveseat are past their prime. Very hard for senior citizens to sit in!

We spent most of our time on the porch. So peaceful! The house had everything & I could tell it’s been recently update. The kitchen was better stocked than any other I’ve ever stayed at Edisto (been coming for 30yrs) New furniture & very clean!

Great Vacation!

House looked updated from our visit last year! Very clean. new gas grill! New tvs and living room furniture! Big upgrade! Lot's of shade and breaze for the screened porch and to hang out downstairs under the house. All TVs are streaming, so you can watch whatever you like! Beach is a quick walk or easier golf cart ride. to the public access. Great house and vacation!

Marillos Miracle

House was great. Only a short walk to the beach. We had one room with no overhead light working and also the door when locked could be simply pushed or pulled open. Maid service should also do a better job cleaning the floors between guests. I had to sweep up a few areas when we got in. Washer & dryer worked well. The 2 queen beds need new mattresses. Kitchen was well stocked and clean. All linens were very clean (very important) and bathrooms were very clean as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay! This house was perfect for our group and a great location! We would stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay. It was close to the beach and had a private feel. The only issue was that the door locks stick so it took a while to get in to the house and the rugs and floors did not appear to have been washed/cleaned. The previous guests review of their stay was left on the table so it didn’t seem to be cleaned other than new linens. Other than that it was a nice rental with a lot of space. The 3 bathrooms were nice to have on our girls trip.

Fun Week - Decent Weather

Our week at Morillo's Miracle was enjoyable. The short block and a half walk to the beach was easy. Loved sitting on the little screened porch, especially during morning coffee. The house was comfortable and clean except for moldy shower curtain liners in two of the three bathrooms. Place needs a new dishwasher, as the door is sprung and the bottom rack wants to throw the dishes on the floor. New vertical blinds in the two front bedrooms need to be replaced, too, as slats are missing - felt a little exposed. Would look forward to renting again if the noted issues are fixed.

House is outdated. Leaking in Kitchen through ceiling fan with water on floor. Ceiling in one bedroom had water damage and part of ceiling fell during our stay. One fan on porch never worked. Toilet seats not actually secured on toilets. Bugs in all rooms. All concerns brought to local VACASA.

Worst Stay and Bad Customer Service

This property had the makings of a nice place, good layout&location & new sofas, but it was by far the worst stay I've ever had&would drive me back to using hotels if that had been an option this weekend. We arrived on Fri &after falling asleep, the smoke detector battery started going dead &began beeping. It kept us up ALL night long. I spent the night with 1 pillow under &1 on top of my head to keep the noise out. I tried calling for assistance in the morning, but was unable to get anyone on the phone or even leave a voicemail. Meanwhile, every mattress in the place was horrible. Think summer camp cots with sheets that were so scratchy that even Walmart could make them more comfortable. There is a street light that shines into one of the BR's,1 of the eyes on the stove did not work ,& 1 of the bathroom sinks was slow draining. When I finally was able to get the property mgr on the phone, she informed me that they did not have anybody to fix any of these things over the weekend but that she could be out in an hour to replace the battery in the smoke detector. We discussed the possibility of 1night's refund but was told she'd have to discuss it with the owner and she'd call me back. She did not so I asked to see her when I dropped the keys off on our way out of town. I was told she was unavailable & would call me later which she did not. I called again 2 days later & was told that a $50 refund was all she could give. My advice to anyone is to stay away from this place!
