The bright interior is beaming with joyful sunlight, offering a lovely reminder that you are at the beach and to savor the peace of your vacation. No detail has been overlooked, including complimentary WiFi, TVs with Roku streaming service, and quality decor. Stay in one evening and make a feast for your small group in the beautiful kitchen, or walk to one of the restaurants located less than a block away. Your stay also includes use of the community pool and pool house. Come on down and join us for an unforgettable Edisto Beach vacation!

The Retreat community pool is open seasonally and is generally closed from October - April.
Smoking is strictly prohibited on-site.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

What a great location! We loved this place and would stay here again. Close to all the shops and food and beach. We loved sitting out on the porch drinking coffee. Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room for 3 teenage boys.

My family attended a wedding on Edisto Island and SeaSeaRider was the perfect place to stay! A short walk to the beach and a clean spacious place to stay! It was easy to check in and out. Thank you Vacasa!

Excellent Home on Edisto

This home was as close to perfect as you can get. It was spacious, very clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare dinner in the evenings. The deck had a wonderful view of shady moss filled palm trees and the ocean. It was the prefect location, very quiet and close to the grocery store and Coots. And it was at a very reasonable rate. We will definitely book Sea Sea Rider in the future.

Great location!

Super easy walk to the beach. Perfect accommodations for our family of 5- loved having 3 bathrooms! We walked to dinner every night. Kitchen was recently updated and beautiful.

Thankful Thanksgiving

Sea Sea Rider was the perfect spot for our get away Thanksgiving weekend. Beautifully decorated condo that is close to beach and shops. Fully stocked kitchen to cook an entire Thanksgiving dinner! Highly recommend for a fun time at Edisto Beach.

Anniversary Get Away

Perfect place for our needs. Close to shopping, restaurants, grocery, beach and state park. Love that every room had a bathroom. Could use updated fry pans and cookie sheets. Would recommend and will rent again.

Lovely

Perfect for our family of 4. 2 bdrms have ensuite bathrooms. Enjoyed the short walk to the beach and pool. Read on the shaded deck, and loved the convenience to shops, restaurants and grocery. Laid back vibe and beach was not crowded. Perfect weeks vacation.

Perfect location

We enjoyed our week long stay. The property is within distance to beach, pool, restaurants, amd stores. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was a plus. Overall cleanliness was good. We noticed thr rug and celing fans could use a cleaning. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time at Sea Sea Rider! It was very spacious and comfortable. Location was fantastic! We could walk everywhere. Pool was lovely! Communication was great. Nice peak of the ocean from the deck. Laundry was so nice. Quiet and peaceful location. Dishwasher stuck a bit when opening but was very quick. Would definitely go back!

Edisto Beach Sea Sea Rider

The unit is very conveniently situated and reasonably furnished. The cleaning prior to our visit was unacceptable; the floors had not been mopped in quite some time, the carpet had not been vacuumed recently, the toaster and coffee maker were in poor condition. To its credit, Vacasa, the property manager, corrected these issues promptly upon our complaint. The appliances were replaced with new ones and the young woman they sent to clean the unit did a superior job. One more thing seriously concerns us: We booked with VRBO in the expectation that having done so we would have direct contract with the individual owner, as we have before. We were surprised and displeased to be dealing instead with a property management company. Vacasa did make things right, but they should have been right from the beginning, and in our case the name of your web site, Vacation Rental by Owner, is misleading.

Not Clean!

Dealt with VERY rude and unhelpful customer service before arriving via the Vacasa Guest Services text. Then when we arrived at the condo, the entrance to the living room smelled like old trash. We contacted the local office and they sent a cleaning person out who handed us a glade plug in…. Which didn’t solve the problem. Our feet were all filthy the evening that we arrived, giving us the impression that the floors were never even cleaned. In addition, there were tumbleweeds of hair rolling around the condo. We had two babies on-site, so it caused a concern of cleanliness as our children are crawling around the floors. We heard rumblings from others we met during our stay that the plethora of Vacasa managed houses on Edisto are better than Edisto Realty’s offerings, but we were less than impressed with our experience.
