Imaculate cottage. My husband and I walked to restaurants and the shops on Bridge Street, and rode our bikes around the neighborhoods near by. We also enjoyed sitting by the canal and waving to the boaters. Well stocked kitchen and had everything we needed. We were there for over a week and were very comfortable.

Fantastic stay

Perfect location, within walking distance of several restaurants I love. Very clean and had a wonderful stay. Sitting by the canal and watching a few Manatees hang out was a nice plus!

January in Cortez.

This place is exactly as advertised, nice and clean. So easy to get to Anna Maria Island. A couple of good restaurants in walking distance. I would stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

Located on a very quiet street. Enjoyed watching the boats go by in the canal. Very close to Anna Maria Island without the higher island prices! Very comfortable and clean!

Long weekend getaway

Loved everything about this cottage! It was convenient to everything we needed and love about area! It was very clean and Ty was very responsive to messages. We will be back!

Cortez on the canal

We had everything we needed for a week just over the bridge from Anna Maria. A couple of microwaveable dishes would be helpful.

The cottage was exactly as shown in the photos. Very clean and in good condition. Everything was provided, including beach towels and chairs. Nice location. Very soft bed but maybe needs a new box spring.

Beach Trio

We just wanted a few days at the beach and the Canal Cottage was perfect. Very clean, good off island location, well equipped. Enjoyed watching the boats, and birds along the waterway. We will consider it again on our next AMI visit. I agree with previous reviewer that a new box spring would probably be a good idea.

Ty's canal cottage

Everything in the cottage, was neat and clean as expected. The one thing I wish it would have had was a washer and drier but I knew that going in. There is a Yowash laundry mat just down the street on Cortez road which is very nice place to take care of those needs.The host , Ty and his wife, are very good people, who were quick in answering all questions that I had. I would have no hesitation booking this place again.

Cute place in a great location

Such a unique location next to the inland canal. Relaxing to watch the boats and see fish jumping in the water. Very clean studio cottage with a comfortable bed & recliner. Kitchen has everything you should need. Cottage was decorated nicely with many extra touches. Great location just before the bridge to Anna Maria Island. Bathroom was just remodeled & was nice but just a bit difficult to navigate. I feel 5 stars are fitting & owner was more than accommodating & friendly.

Just what we needed

Perfect for my daughter and I. Affordable, comfortable, and close enough to everything. It was fun watching boats head out for the day while eating breakfast. We also enjoyed the privacy and a break away from all the tourists.
