Many amenities within walking distance. Also many modes of free public transportation. Apartment is completely self-contained with a private entrance, outside lounge area, and parking at the door. Walk to the beach , shopping, convenient store. Bike and golf cart rentals along with bait shops and jet ski , kayaking, boat rentals and fishing charters.

Was a clean room, it was nice and quiet. Was close to shops and the island. Cute sitting area where I read my book and had coffee. Enjoyed my time at the beach which is close by and had a great stay.

We loved our stay. This was a nice peaceful retreat. Location was great. The host had everything you needed . The patio area was very nice and added a nice touch of privacy and peacefulness!

This was such the perfect space for our honeymoon getaway! We loved being so close to the beach and a few great Cortez staples. We even accidentally locked ourselves out and Hazel was responsive within minutes! Recommend 100%

Great location with no traffic gps shows 5mins ‘car ride’ from Bradenton beach. Close to everything store, restaurants. The property was very clean. The host was very responsive we had an issue with the door blind, I sent Hazel a message and she came right away. There is a dog next dog that started barking as soon as we got there but it was no biggie ‘we love dogs’ & he only barked a few times. Highly recommend.

We an very enjoyable stay at our Cortez VRBO. The accomodations were small, but very nicely appointed, with a cleanliness and attention to detail that was impressive. The location is very attractive, with lovely beaches within easy driving distance.

This was a perfect place for a couple vacationing in Cortez/Anna Maria Island. Very clean! So helpful that the hosts provided beach chairs & towels, complimentary cold drinks and a cooler. Quiet neighborhood. We would stay again.

Property was very clean and had all the items needed to spend the day at the beach. Unfortunately we flew down and rented a gulf cart only to be informed that it couldn’t be plugged in there. I feel like that is an important thing to list. Other than that the place was clean. I also was under the impression that it was a house and it was as a bedroom, kitchenette and bath. Perfect place for a single or double stay with transpiration.

Our host was very receptive in getting back to us immediately when I had questions. The actual rental was super clean. Super comfortable. Beautifully decorated with a beach theme. Everything we needed was supplied including coffee, pop, water, everything we could possibly need we would definitely come back here

Your host Hazel is a third generation Cortezian, who along with her husband Steve, raised two sons in this home. Her family is one of the families who founded the fishing village of Cortez in the late 1800s.

Quiet location close to beaches and other amenities. No need for a car while vacationing as there are many restaurants, shopping, and activities within walking distance. There is also free transportation in the form of the Island trolley as well as the monkey bus.
