Beware. We were originally supposed to stay a the building next door, but the host contacted me and said the city was not allowing him to rent the property due to windows that needed replacement, so he placed us next door in another one of his buldings. However, that building was also not up to code and someone from the city taped a notice on our door that the building was unhabitable. We got refunded, but it ruined our vacation and put us in a potentially dangerous situation.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay - communication with Isaiah was timely and helpful. The location was great, as we were steps from the beach and steps from restaurants/town. Parking was helpful and AC worked great. The apartment is very basic, as described/depicted, but great if you're planning to primarily go to the beach and eat meals in town. Thank you for the stay.

Great location, steps from the beach, 15 minute walk to the pier at most! Everything you could need is a short walk away. Communication with Isaiah was outstanding no matter the time or question!

Perfect

It was the perfect location ! Steps from the beach! It was everything I wanted. When we come back I will definitely rent again. Isaiah was amazing and helpful and kind. I definitely recommend to everyone this place.

OOB September Stay

I love the accessibility of your place. It clearly is tired and a good bed in every bedroom would go a long way to overcoming the tired parts of your place. The location is awesome and that’s what we’re there for. Love a better nights sleep. A new fridge that doesn’t play pinball all night would be good too!

Property a quick walk to quiet part of beach A longer walk to the pier but walkable Great little restaurant/store a block away Owner in process of updating the units but were clean and had comfortable beds and everything needed Isiah the owner was helpful with any questions we had. Pet friendly and beach was pet friendly after 4 and before 10 Great place to relax and enjoy the ocean without lots of commercialism

The place was cute but dated. We had some hiccups , but the stay was nice. We're out of landlords control I guess. The place is close to the beach and you can see the beach from the porch.

I enjoyed my stay in this quaint little condo. Great location, close to the beach and a short walk to the pier. The rooms were clean and had white colored walls with grey wood floors that brightened up the space. The window air conditioner looked new and worked great! Plenty of washcloths, bath and beach towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap were provided. There was also a well stocked kitchenette. Yes, it is an older building that could use more updating, but it was fine for what I was there for. Lots of beach time and walks to restaurants etc. The owner was easy to contact and helpful.

While the manager was responsive and communicative, the place wasn't great. The picture of one of the main rooms was completely different from reality, the place was a bit run down, and the manager forgot to mention that a train passes by the house every hour of the night while honking loudly...

never got internet to work. Tried to message via vrbo but never heard back. A couple of us needed to work but we were not able do get our work done. That was the only (but important) drawback. Might there be a credit to us for this covosmall

couldn't contact host on second floor 3 flight of stairs, we didn't know it was second floor until two days before arrival blinds ripped stained couch empty light sockets. says on-site parking..no 1/10 mile down the road. description doesn't match property, trying to get a refund ...we couldn't stay there as one of our party has breathing problems and couldn't climb all those stairs

Filthy

Location is of course great, but the price we paid for how dirty that place is? Not at all. There were, what looked like, blood stains on the bedding, stains all across the ceiling, the couch was abhorrently stained and filthy, couldn't use the pull out bed, the other chair had a big rip on the corner, there was no welcome card or instructions or towels spare bedding, the coffee machine you couldnt use because it was growing mold it hadn't been cleaned in so long, the bathroom looked like the guy from SAW designed the esthetics of it with tetanus. A shingle blew off the roof. I have pictures of everything and would like some kind of refund, ESPECIALLY the cleaning fee cause christ himself knows no one is cleaning. Least they left a Jesus's birthday card? Its a good spot if upgrading from car.

C'est la deuxième fois que nous allons à cet endroit, dans le même appartement. Nous apprécions la proximité de la plage. La connexion internet fonctionnait bien et la télé également contrairement à l'an dernier. Nous aimons cet endroit, car il y a un frigo, un micro-ondes et un four pour cuisiner. Essentiel avec des enfants :-) Les draps et serviettes n'ont pas été changés, mais nous ne l'avons pas demandé. J'aurais aimé avoir une petite moppe pour ramasser le sable sur le plancher.

Cockroaches

Keep.looking. this was an awful place with cockroaches and the most uncomfortable bed i have ever experienced. I could hardly sleep because i was dreaming about my back hurting because it was killing me from that hard bed. And there were cockroaches. We were there 1 night and it was too long.

L'emplacement était idéal pour l'accès à la plage, au mini-golf et au '' Peer ''. C'était bien pour une famille. L'accès à une épicerie était plus difficile, il est préférable de faire les courses avant d'arriver. Nous n'avons pas réussi à entrer en contact avec l'hôte via VRBO, donc pas d'internet :-(. Une chance que nous avions la télé avec des canaux pour enfants. Cela nous a aidé.

First time in Old Orchard

The location was amazing. We would step outside and within seconds had our feet in the sand. Very helpful when travelling with young children. The apartment was ok but we were expecting a little more for the price we paid. Quite outdated! We could see some upgrades had been done but the apartment requires more, especially the bathroom. Owner is really nice and responsive which was really great.

Location is Superb

You can hear the ocean from your window and see it steps from the deck. That being said - this property is not fancy, it’s pretty dated BUT it’s clean and comfortable and the property manager is friendly and communicates really well. If a place to stay on a gorgeous beach is what you want - it’s great. If you are looking for luxury it’s not for you.
