Welcome to Josephine in the most sought after area in all of Denver - Cherry Creek North. Hotels 1 block south are $600+/night! The most incredible dining in this entire region of the country & shopping @ Cherry Creek Mall won't be beat. Night-life options abound at Little Ollies, Forget Me Not, Cherry Cricket, Quality Italian, Del Frisco's & more! 100mbps internet free for guest use. 1 dedicated free private parking space. Smoke/vape free inside & out. Minutes from Downtown, 30 to Red Rocks. Owner stays in the upstairs separate apartment with her rescue puppy and family and does work from home - we will encounter one another more than likely or hear one another on occasion :-) Please let us know if things are too noisy! We do our best to keep upstairs noise and voices to a minimum after 10p :-) Additionally something to keep in mind, owner's utility room is on the lower level outside the guest apartment. This home was built in the very early 1900's; one of the original homes in Cherry Creek! Old home charms alongside its quirks. Lower ceilings, creaky wood floors, amazing backyard you're welcome to share! I've made lots of updates over the years, however if you're noise sensitive, a light sleeper, etc this may not be the perfect place for you! Price is reflective of all of these things :-) However, I am always available and happy to accommodate guests as best I can at your request.

Location location location!!! Walking to lots of restaurants and shopping so nice! Beautiful neighborhood. Basement apartment was totally fine. Everything you need. I did not catch the part that says the ceiling was low in places until after we arrived in Denver… which it was low in the entry area. The height in the apartment itself was fine. Great big bed and bedroom. Nice! We had a great time!

It was a nice place to stay at in between all of our travels. Host messaged throughout stay to make sure everything was ok. Definitely recommend! Close to a lot of little shops and restaurants.

Cozy Location

Everything met what was advertised, except for accessing the internet. Connected to the WiFi but absolutely zero connection to internet. Had to leave to get access,frustrating when business calls!

Lovely, but some issues

The place itself was lovely, but it was extremely hard to find the entrance. There was no entrance from the street address side, and we had to figure out for ourselves that we needed to come in through an alley in back. The instructions said to use the 'guest parking' but it was not marked, and we were only able to figure out the house number because the number was on the garbage/recycling bins. Once we got inside, everything was very nice, but the wi-fi was non-functional, and contacting the host did not result in any action or apology about that.

The tunnel

Our Uber getting there had great trouble finding the gate in the alley as there are no addresses or signs back there. (Can’t order food delivery either)It was narrow, dark and I hit my head on the low ceiling three times. There was no bedding for the pullout, which had a giant sunken area. (See pic) We hated it there so much we stayed at a hotel the second night.

Nice, safe place.

In the area for a conference. Safe neighborhood, female traveling solo. 15 minute drive to the convention center (depending on construction.)Entrance was in the back (not on Josephine), so utalize the alley off of 5th for your parking spot. There is street parking on 5th too. There was a dog and small child upstairs so it did get noisy at times, but if you know that going in, it’s no real issue. Had to connect to the tennent, communication was smooth.

Nice, centrally placed basement apartment

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. The basement apartment is nicely furnished and well-stocked. The apartment is centrally located, just a few minutes from Cherry Creek, Washington Park, the Botanic Gardens, City Park, the Museum of Nature and Science, and ten or fifteen minutes from the Civic Center, the opera house, and all the nearby venues. The check-in process is really easy, and there is a parking spot in back, so, very convenient. Would definitely go back.

Inexpensive, casual basement level apartment perfect for folks looking for a cozy place to sleep. An ideal option for travelers looking to pay less than the boutique hotels one block to the South in an amazing neighborhood. One of the top destinations in Denver - Cherry Creek North! Very walkable, safe, tons of boutique shopping, movies, luxury shopping, top restaurants. I love living here.
My toddler and I live in the upper level - we will hear one another but I do my best to keep noise levels to a minimum! It’s one of the original homes in Cherry Creek - lower ceilings, smaller windows, etc. cozy bungalow style home. Perfect for travelers who don’t require ultra modern and more expensive accommodations. I keep the place well stocked and make myself available to my guests 24/7 during their stays!
