Charming two-story condo boasts direct ocean views from the main floor common areas. The furnished balcony offers seating, tables, and spectacular beach view. Both en suite bedrooms are on the second (bottom) floor with the primary suite providing a king bed with daybed, TV, and balcony as well as a large private bath with garden tub and enclosed shower, and the second suite offering double and single beds with TV.

MAIN (top) FLOOR: Powder room, fully equipped kitchen, dining/living area with queen sleeper sofa, furnished balcony with direct beach and ocean view.

SECOND (bottom) FLOOR: 2 bedrooms – one with private balcony, 2 full bathrooms.

AMENITIES: Smart TVs-3 with cable (LR, all BRs), DVD/Blu-ray-1, wireless internet, microwave, dishwasher, range, Keurig and drip coffee makers, full size refrigerator, wet bar with ice maker, Queen sleeper sofa, washer/dryer, heat/AC, 2 covered balconies – one with ocean view, common use elevator, assigned covered parking, Sandpiper Run community pool, outdoor on-site grills, direct beach access.

HOUSEKEEPING / LINENS: All short-term stays include departure clean service, bed and bath linens, and beds made upon arrival. Linens and housekeeping are additional costs for monthly stays.

POOL ACCESS: The dunes side outdoor pool with cabana and restrooms is centrally located within the Sandpiper Run/Crescent condo complex. (No pool heat. Seasonal use subject to HOA management.)

BEACH ACCESS: Beach boardwalks are located on the north and south sides of Sandpiper Run building A. The south side boardwalk, adjacent to the pool, offers ramped access (new) and shower rinsing station.

LENGTH OF STAY: Saturday to Saturday stays in summer. Partial week stays may be considered for last-minute bookings. Monthly winter rental inquiries are welcome.

LITCHFIELD BY THE SEA: A gated coastal paradise on one of the finest beaches along the east coast. Enjoy outdoor pickleball/tennis courts as well as miles of biking and walking paths within a tropical coastal setting. Fish in the surf or on the freshwater lake. Take a dip in the pool, splash in the ocean waves, and beachcomb along the shore. See saltmarsh vistas and fascinating shorebird life. Explore Brookgreen Gardens, Huntington Beach State Park, and historic Georgetown. Experience nearby award-winning golf courses and chartered boating excursions. Sample exceptional local restaurants – many within walking distance.

No smoking. No Pets (resort rules prohibit guest pets).

The unit was perfect for us. The bedrooms were downstairs which was nice for privacy and light sleepers. The balcony looked over the water and there was enough couch space for us to sit comfortably. Nice parking areas and short walk to the beach. Pool and hot tub were close by and we enjoyed that too. We come to Litchfield beach every year but this was our first time in a condo. Not crowded in September.

Beachfront condo with amazing view

This two-level condo is perfect for a couple or a small family. Open the drapes in the living room to see the sun rise each morning. It has a well-equipped kitchen and large dining table. With direct access to the beach and ocean views from the top floor balcony, it’s the perfect beach property. Spacious living room with very comfortable sofas and chairs. The 2 1/2 bathrooms are convenient; however, the two showers are quite small.

A little dated

The property had a spectacular ocean view, but it was dated - tiny showers, tub did not run hot water, no WiFi downstairs, beds need new mattress. But it was worth it for the ocean view just yards away from the ocean.

Great view

Overall, this is a nice property. Great balcony to enjoy the views. Bed was comfy and the kitchen well outfitted. Our only complaints would be that the carpets needed cleaning, shower space was tight, and the large resident dog next door literally howled every time it needed to go out until the homeowner took it out.

Litchfield by the Sea, a beach front gated community, offers a relaxing Lowcountry coastal experience on the South Strand. The tame but naturalized landscape of signature Palmetto palms, native myrtles, seaside roses, cedars and hollies wends around a central fresh water fishing lake, sweeping green spaces and quintessential tidal creek.

Micro-communities of residential homes blend with townhomes and low to mid-rise condo complexes, each boasting their own architectural style, signature outdoor pool and water views.

Common areas offer residents and guests alike access to outdoor lighted tennis courts, fishing and crabbing piers on the lake and saltmarsh, winding walking and biking paths and private direct access to one of the finest beaches on the east coast.

Litchfield Beach is easily among the prettiest beaches in South Carolina. Bounded by low lying sand dunes and the blue-green ocean, the beach is characteristically wide with soft white sand and spans 7 miles from end to end.

Huntington Beach State Park shares the same strand as Litchfield Beach, a popular destination for families, photographers, and nature lovers. Take a drive a few miles north along Ocean Highway 17 to the forested state park entrance where visitors will fall under the enchanting spell of the beauty and wildlife of the Lowcountry sand dunes and marshlands.

Only a few miles away as well is Brookgreen Gardens, another local treasure. Brookgreen displays world renowned sculpture amidst acres of lush gardens and majestic oaks and offers miles of walking paths through what once was a working rice plantation. It is also home to the only accredited zoo on the Carolina coast, where you will see rescued native animals in their natural habitats.

The Pawleys Island/Litchfield Beach area is known locally as the Waccamaw Neck. Pawleys Island, known for its “arrogantly shabby” character, encompasses Litchfield but has its own beach – and island – where it splits away from the south end of Litchfield Beach. The relaxing ebb and flow of the tide sets the pace of our Lowcountry coastal region of South Carolina where getting on Island Time comes naturally.

Outdoor activities are a great way to experience the unique beauty of our area. Locals and visitors alike enjoy surf fishing, deep sea fishing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, surfing, boating, bicycling, and beach combing – just to name a few. Nationally renowned golf courses abound as well as historic landmarks and plantation tours. Myrtle Beach, only 20 miles north, and Charleston, 75 miles south, make great day trips.
