Spacious rental for 6 in lovely home with gorgeous views, minutes from resort

Rental includes top two floors of house. Rental space has its own entrance, parking space, and three balconies. Master suite contains king bed, private bathroom and tub, balcony. Second bedroom has two twin beds, and third bedroom has twin bunk beds. Plenty of space for six people, including full kitchen with range, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and open dining room and living room. BBQ grill on the big balcony.
(Guests can fill propane tank at Mercantile just minutes away or at gas station; propane is not included.)

Gorgeous views of the mountains and adjacent to Girdwood park land for the feeling that you are nestled in the woods, yet plenty of southern exposure including the entire front balcony. Just a few minutes drive from ski resort.

This home sits on the end of a residential street. A long-term tenant occupies the ground floor apartment and uses the parking space on the left as you pull up to the house. Tenant has separate entrance and completely separate living area.

If you are looking for nice accommodations in a beautiful location this place is perfect for your family or friends to gather. Please note, although the apartment is spacious, the limit is six guests (children under 2 yrs. old in addition to the six guests are welcome). The home is not new construction, and although we have done some remodeling everything is not brand new. Please take a look at our photos, they are recent and should give you a good idea of the rental.

NO PARTIES, we are in a residential neighborhood (and have a downstairs tenant). Sorry, pets are not allowed in the house or entryway at all even if they are well-trained (due to allergies). Thank you for your consideration and enjoy your time in Girdwood, Alaska.

We really liked this property. Little ones slept downstairs but I had no problems hearing them from the upstairs master. My toddler loved the bubbles. Heated floor in the bathroom upstairs ideal for wintertime!

First time in AK

It was our first time in AK - this was the perfect home base for our adventures- including hiking nearby trails, couple days on the Mtn which was super convenient and then a trip out to Seward for some ice climbing adventures. Place had everything we needed - to start and end our days.

Great place to stay with family and friends

Very clean and great host. Stayed with family and two friends for two nights. Quiet neighborhood in the mountains and optimally located within a driving distance (<45min) from wildlife preserve, Whittier, Anchorage, and many hiking trails.

Great place in Girdwood

We enjoyed staying here, it had plenty of space, was clean, and conveniently located (we went to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center one day and the Tram the other day). I didn't give it a full 5 stars, because it was a warm day and they didn't have AC (which I knew) - but many windows/doors didn't have screens in them - so we couldn't open them up to cool off the home quickly. Also the largest window in the master bedroom did not have a blackout blind.

Perfect little place

The house was just as cute as pictured. It was the perfect space for us to stay in while visiting Girdwood. Very clean and the best stocked rental I’ve visited. Host was excellent with communication and gave lots of helpful information.

Great Stay in Alyeska Area

This was a great place to stay in the Alyeska area. The house is at the end of a dead end road so if is every peaceful and quiet and surrounded by trees. The host did a great job of communicating everything and even left us waffle mix and syrup.

Plenty of room for 6 people to vacation in a location with the comforts of home. Close to alpine and Nordic skiing, biking, hiking, rafting, just about everything Alaska has to offer. I've always loved spending time in and around Girdwood and think that you will too if you love the outdoors!
