Studio style apartment above our garage with a full kitchen and bathroom. Sleeps four people with 2 - full size beds and one twin size bed. Two closets. Can sleep two adults and two children. Four adults can make it tight, the couch is not considered as a bed. Decorated in a 'beach theme', very cozy and everything is brand new. Brand new window a/c.

❤️‍🩹Traveling nurses welcome too!❤️‍🩹

Private entrance parking on property for ONE vehicle. If two cars will be driven please let us know upon booking so we can arrange our vehicles too. Park at the bottom of the stairs, do NOT block the garage doors.

Located 10 minutes from Alton Bay, Lake Winnipesaukee, close to Mt Major, Bank of NH Pavillion 29 minute drive/15 miles, Gunstock Mountain, Mount Washington boat tour and Castle in the Clouds, World War 2 Museum in Wolfeboro 20 minute drive to name a few places. 45-60 minute drive to York/Kittery Maine or to Portsmouth NH about 1 1/2 hour from Boston.

We ask you to treat our rental as you would treat your own home. NO SMOKING of anything (Vapes included) NO PETS!

We were here for a nearby wedding and the accommodations were perfect. We loved all the special touches. Snacks and toiletries were provided just in case they were needed. The hosts thought of everything! Thank you Rick and Elaine!

4 adults stayed 2 nights and we loved our stay. Was even more special than the pictures show. Very clean. Fully equipped kitchen. Beds were comfy. Lucy was a great greeter!! Would definitely stay again.

This place met all our needs. This home is located just outside of the tourist areas. So if you don't mind a little extra driving to get peace and quiet, along with the comforts of home, this is the place for you.

Absolute GEM nestled away near Alton Bay!

I was completely blown away by our stay here! Tucked away less than 10 minutes from Alton Bay is this place that we very much hope to return to in the future! Everything provided was top-notch. Beautifully maintained property with the owners on site, readily available to assist with anything you might need. However, they thought of everything AHEAD of time, making our stay plenty memorable, peaceful, and relaxing. Could not ask for a better location, better hosts, or a better property. Thank you so much for the much needed peace of mind!

Perfect, quiet getaway

This was the perfect, peaceful, relaxing, quiet carriage studio for our mother/daughter trip to New England! It had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. Elaine even made us some pumpkin spice muffins and left out snacks - much appreciated. :) It was also in a great location for everything we did in New Hampshire and surrounding states. We’ll definitely return with more family in the future!

Well equipped studio appartment.

The four of us (all grown-ups) had a very comfortable stay at the apartment. It was super clean and had everything you need for a weekend stay and beyond. The hosts were welcome and helpful. Highly recommended, especially if you looking for a get away quiet place.

A welcoming loft in the woods.

The appartment is clean, modern and private. Having a carraige house apartment away from the main house made it more homey. We met Elaine, Ricky, and their two dogs when we arrived. They are very nice people and Elaine even made us some muffins that tasted great with our morning coffee. We look forward to visiting again next year.

It's is about 30 minutes out but very clean. They load ypu up with snacks too. Very friendly and they don't bither you at all. 100% would stay there again

Great peaceful spot

What a little gem! The pictures online didn't do it justice. While I was only there for a short period of time, it was fantastic. We meet the owners as soon as we arrived, they are very nice. It's quiet, clean, and surrounded by nature. Plus, it's close to shopping and the lake. And the drive to get there is unbelievably gorgeous.

We are originally from Southern California! We started coming to New England when we got married and honeymooned in Stowe, Vermont. We continued to vacation back here and finally made the move in Summer of 2018 when we made New Hampshire our home. So far we have enjoyed the experience of 'rural' living and living a slower lifestyle than we were use to.

We have stayed in quite a few VRBO rentals and I always leave thinking this is cute, I would stay here again. Which is what I would hope guests would say about our rental. We live on the property but the apartment has it's own entrance and is not attached to our home. It's been a labor of love that my husband has put into it and we think it's a perfect place to call 'home' while on vacation.
All we ask is that you treat the apartment as you would your own home.

10 minutes to Alton Bay, 30-40 minutes to Mt Major, Gunstock Mountain and 25-30 minutes from Bank of NH Pavillon, Castle in the Clouds
WW2 museum located in Wolfeboro 20 minute drive.
45-60 minute drive to Kittery/York Maine, about the same distance to Portsmouth, NH a good 1 1/2 to Boston.

Great hiking in the area as well. You can rent SUP boards in the Bay. Quite a few places to eat and get ice cream in the Bay as well.
