This wonderful home has 3 bedrooms and an open loft with a day bed that will transform into a king bed. There is a king suite with large walk-in shower and bathroom. There is a queen suite with a shower and bathroom. The third bedroom has a queen bed. There is a full tub/shower bathroom. The living/dining/kitchen area is all open with vaulted ceiling and large ceiling fans. The wrap around porch/deck has a screened in portion overlooking the swimming pool. There is an outside shower by the pool with hot water. Please use it to wash off the sand before getting into the pool. There are televisions in every bedroom. There is wireless internet.
The house has direct access to Bowman Beach, the nicest beach area on Sanibel Island. It is short walk to the beach, approximately a 5-minute walk. There is a beach cart to haul your beach gear the short walk to the beach. Beach towels are provided. There are some beach items and pool noodles and floats. There are beach chairs and beach toys. There are also some bicycles. No guarantee that they are in great shape but available for use.
The house is less than 2 miles to Captiva Island and all it has to offer in addition to Sanibel activities.

Perfect Get Away

Loved being able to walk to Bowmans beach every night to watch the sunset. Seashells gallore! Nice pool to be able to relax in and around for down time. Very nice home!

Perfect getaway

My husband and I booked this trip just to get away and unwind. That’s exactly what we got, house was perfect for us, quiet neighborhood, pool was super nice after being at the beach. Enjoyed our stay.

Clean & kid friendly

Family enjoyed staying at this property. It was clean and well maintained. The kids loved the pool and spent much more time there than the beach.

Nice quiet place to relax, short walk to a very nice Bowman Beach

The house was nice and quiet. My party of 7 enjoyed the pool and the bikes. I have used rentals on SI for over 20 years and this is the only place that had spices and other small kitchen expendables. That is a bonus. One quick question to the host was answered quickly.

Quick walk to Bowmans Beach, house has everything needed for your stay. Plenty of room and a heated pool. Great shelling. So happy to be able to stay on the island again. Thank you all for a wonderful stay, will definitely be back!!

House was great - just as advertised. Trek to the beach was kind of long, but beach was great once we got there. We cook a lot and found the kitchen well stocked and comfortable.

Great family home

Property was clean, well stocked with supplies and everything you need to cook/grill, pool was nice but cold so hard for littles (only downside). Beds were comfy, showers nice (including the outside one). Easy walk to the beach.

Great space for family

We thoroughly enjoyed the house and yard; unfortunately we stayed during a week that rained a lot, resulting in significant flooding, and even a small amount of roof leakage. Property was wonderful.

Sanibel

The house was clean and just as described. We were quite happy with the location as it was convenient to both Sanibel and Captiva. Beach access is a short walk away and beach area filled with beautiful shells. Some construction happening next door, however not bothersome. Enjoyed our stay very much. Mucky Duck in Captiva was a delight at sunset.

Everything we hoped for!

This house was perfect for our family vacation! It was equipped with everything we needed. We spent many mornings and evenings at the pool and in the screened in porch. Most afternoons we walked over to the beautiful beach (which was only 5 min away). This was a great find for us!

Family Vacation

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Sanibel and this property was great for us. The owners really have the house well stocked with many amenities and well equipped kitchen. We were glad to see Sanibel staying strong after the terrible hurricane. We were able to enjoy many of Sanibel and Captiva’s pristine beaches. We feel very blessed to have spent a week together at sweet Sanibel as she rebuilds.

Exceeded our expectations!

What an incredible week we had at this beautiful property! It had everything you would need in every room and bathroom...plus the kitchen was stacked with everything. We sat in the screened in porched in the morning and enjoyed our coffee with the fountain drip noise of the sauna onto the pool. We loved how it was centrally located to the island, so we could go toward Captiva or back to the causeway very quickly. Bowman's beach was around the corner, the most perfect beach! We would definitely stay again!

Spring Break 2024

Beautiful, peaceful property! Walk to the beach was along a beautiful path, easy walking. Heated pool was perfect for relaxing and a fun game of water volleyball. We could not get the hot tub to heat, but the weather was so nice we didn’t really care. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, bath towels and beach towels nice quality. Nice bike and walking trails on the island. We had a wonderful family vacation!

Sanibel Beach House

Had a good stay at the house. House was spacious, clean and well located. Was a last minute booking and understand it will take some time for Sanibel to return to normal. All though Bowman Beach is closed, we entered around the barriers and had the beach to ourselves. Some stores and restaurants are starting to open, would recommend driving another 10 minutes for dinner in Captiva. Hope to get back soon.

Nice stay in Sanibel

Stayed here as our condo on Sanibel is in its final stages of renovation. The house was nice and had many amenities that made our stay "like home". The pool was nice, but lacked shade or a patio umbrella, so we utilized it more in the late afternoon. It's a 5 minute walk to the parking lot of Bowmans beach, then another 5 to the beach. With our kids the walk took 15 minutes from driveway to sand. But Sanibels beaches our worth it! Location is perfect for Captiva dinners and activities.

Awesome!!!

This place is great! Well maintained, quiet and simply lovely. We had an absolute blast! As usual Sanibel didn’t disappoint and this great property helped it along. We had a few elderly and disabled with us and the ONLY drawback was the walking distance to the beach. But that was EASILY solved by simply taking the 2 minute drive to the beach! Thanks for letting us experience your property. Hopefully we will meet again in the future!
