It sounds like you really made the most of the location! We love the suggestion of renting a golf cart; it truly is the best way to zip around to the local coffee shops and restaurants. We are also happy you enjoyed the privacy of the beach and the quiet atmosphere of the complex. Please accept our apologies that the pool temperature was a bit chilly during your stay. We know how important pool time is for the kids (and adults!), and we will certainly have our maintenance team look into the heater settings to ensure it’s as comfortable as possible for future guests. Thank you for your review. We disclosed in the listing about work being done in and around the property. We certainly don't want guests arriving thinking things are 100% when that is not the case. While there is construction occurring, the property is just fine, pool available and beach is beautiful. We appreciate the guest support as we all rebuild. The roof is all dried in and just waiting for the new shingles. There wasn't an electrical fire, but a switch in the bedroom was broken off by a guest and caused it to short. We had an electrician there within 30 minutes and then 15 minutes later it was fixed. Again, we appreciate the support and it is so disheartening when we try to get back on our feet and disclose everything ahead of time, yet still face a negative review.

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and found the beach, pool, and accommodations to your liking. Our sincerest apologies about the water heater issue. We understand how inconvenient it was to lose hot water, especially after a day at the beach. Please know that we have a dedicated maintenance team who address any problems as quickly as possible, and while these things are sometimes unavoidable, we're glad they were able to resolve the issue the following morning. Thank you for your understanding and we hope to welcome you back for another enjoyable stay in the future!

This is certainly not the peaceful and relaxing experience we want for our guests. You are absolutely right that clear and timely communication about property status is paramount, especially given the ongoing rebuilding efforts on the Islands.
