Walk to beautiful Wells Beach, sleeps six, 3 bed, 2 bath

Welcome! Our three bed, two bath home is across the street from the marsh and less than 1,000 steps from beautiful Wells Beach. In season, you are a short walk away from the Loveshack Juicery, Rollover Cafe and the arcade. A little further down the road you’ll find Billy’s and Fish Camp. In the off season the walkable restaurants are closed, but you can enjoy long peaceful walks on the beach, take a drive along the beautiful Maine coast, or snuggle up with a good book in front of the electric fireplace.

Our home is three stories. The kitchen and living room are on the second floor, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the marsh while you’re sipping coffee. We updated our living room furniture the 2024 season so it’s even more comfortable. We now have a Lovesac couch and movie sac. The ground floor consists of a bedroom with a king sized bed, bathroom, and washer/dryer. The third floor consists of two bedrooms and a bathroom. The larger bedroom upstairs has a queen bed and views of the marsh. This is the brightest room in the house, best for early birds. This room also has a desk and we have a computer monitor and HDMI cable available if you need to get some work done during your stay. The smaller bedroom has a full sized bed with a twin bunk above, suitable for a child (ages 6+). This room has a TV/Roku and you can sign into your streaming account(s).

Linens are provided. For the sleepers that like white noise, we offer a small sound machine in each of the three bedrooms.

We have a beach wagon that you can use to tow your things to the beach. We also have sand toys for the kids, and a combination of six beach loungers/chairs.

Our small backyard features a grill, fence, and a small grassy area. We have outdoor shower, which is in use from June through the end of September.

We absolutely love this house and the location and we hope you do too!

Things to be aware of before booking:
This home is in a residential neighborhood. To be respectful of our neighbors, quiet hours are from 10pm - 8am and they are strictly enforced.
You must be comfortable with stairs
Exterior camera, ring doorbell.
House sleeps 6 - 1 king, 1 queen, 1 full (with a twin bunk above suitable for kids 6+).
No parties.
There is parking for 2-3 cars and no street parking.
Please consider purchasing trip insurance.

The perfect cottage

This cottage has more than everything we could expect. Located a few steps from the beach, it is very well equiped and clean, the hosts are very responsive and kind, the neighborhood is quiet and pretty. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing time at this property. The house had everything we needed and more!We were treated to fresh flowers and chocolates from the local shop upon arrival. The location is perfect.The house is beautiful inside and out. We will certainly be back!

Beautiful home, Wonderful Hosts

The house is lovely and a short walk to the beach. All toys and chairs to enjoy the beach are at the house. Pam was very accommodating with an air mattress as we had a few extra guests add on at the last minute.

Perfect Maine getaway

The location is an easy walk to the beach. The attention to detail in the accommodation was impressive, and everything was so clean and well-maintained. They also provided a beach cart and chairs, which was a treat. Beautiful, clean, close to beach!

My husband and I stayed with our two boys (5&7) and my mother and her sister. We all had plenty of room. Such a short walk to the beach, the kids didn’t mind at all, and loved taking a shower outside at the house! Not to mention the nightly walks to the arcade and morning walks to get coffee and breakfast.

Yellowhouse Stay

This property is clean, updated, comfortable, and close to everything. Pam was very easy to communicate with and she compiled a guide of local food and attractions that is perfect. You are a five minute walk to the beach and good breakfast spots, and the house is situated to provide excellent sunset views over the estuary. You are a short drive to great restaurants, ice cream, mini golf, and Rachel Carson (for walking in the estuary). We had a great stay and highly recommend this house, we’ll likely book the property again next summer. Thanks again Pam and Slater.

Ocean Escape

This was our first VRBO experience and I could not be happier on the week we had. The house was super clean with creative beach decorations. Beautiful Home

We had such a wonderful time staying at The Yellow House. The cleanliness and attention to detail in the home was spot on. The owners were so accommodating (as we had a baby with us) and catered to our younger kids as well. The location is right in town with an easy walk to shops, beach, and arcade. A beautiful home!
