Blue Pearl

Immaculate, freshly painted and decorated to make you feel welcome, relaxed and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen allows one to prepare meals if one wishes. The bedroom has a queen size bed, fresh crisp white linen. You are provided with laundry detergent, a washer and dryer, air conditioning and ceiling fan. The bathroom is equipped with a rain shower, white towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap. A small deck below offers a view of the bay, incoming fishing boats and colorful sunsets.

It was a lovely property. Everything you could want was supplied. The location is perfect for exploring the Breton Highlands National Park and surrounding areas. I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling in the area.

The Blue Pearl is a lovely, welcoming, well-appointed, and well-maintained space which provided everything we needed. The host was friendly, professional, organized and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our five-day stay and the Blue Pearl provided a comfortable home base to explore Cheticamp and the Cape Breton Highlands. The central location enabled us to walk to many downtown attractions. The private deck gave us a place to relax afterwards.

The Blue Pearl was a beautiful and clean property. It was stocked with all the extras anyone would need when travelling. Sandra was an excellent host who checked in during our stay. I would highly recommend staying here!

The Blue Pearl is the best places I have ever booked. The accomadations are top notch, the hosts are quick to respond, the little apartment felt just like home. The extra touches, like the fresh banna bread made the Blue Pearl our favorite stop in Cape Breton. Although the location is close to the main road, inside we heard no sounds of traffic. In addition, you can walk to restaurants and evening music.When we had a problem with our bike rack, the hosts were quick to offer help.We would love to return again the the Blue Pearl in Cheticamp, NS.

The Blue Pearl is a lovely unit with a quaint back deck that is quiet with a view of the fishing boats. The unit is very well appointed and the owners art work on the walls was beautiful. We met Roland and he was super friendly ensuring we had everything we needed. We would stay again on our next visit to the Cape Breton Highlands.

The Blue Pearl is a warm and inviting home-away-from-home! Absolutely perfect in so many ways. Located right on the main road through Cheticamp and at the harbor. This location is a great base camp for enjoying the Cabot Trail and Cape Breton Highlands National Park. This apartment's kitchen and bathroom is well-appointed (the best I've come across). The creativity, talent, and attention to detail that went into making this apartment a cozy respite from your travels is quite evident. We were able to enjoy the private patio with a view of the harbor, and had the pleasure of meeting Roland and having a lovely conversation with Sandra. We are so happy to have stumbled across this little gem! We highly recommend!

We loved staying at the Blue Pearl. It’s a beautiful little apartment located conveniently in the heart of Chéticamp. Sandra and Roland are very friendly and helpful hosts. The full kitchen is stocked with everything you need and the bed is very comfortable. We appreciated having a washer and dryer and enjoyed relaxing on the harbor view patio. Sandra’s gorgeous paintings on the walls and her homemade banana bread made it even more special.

Perfect size and location for a week of exploring. It's close to restaurants, grocery stores and gas! The kitchen had what I needed for meals at home, too! It's a beautiful area and easy to get to.

A perfect getaway

I felt so comfortable and at home with this stay. It was clean, nicely furnished, and perfectly located with only being a short drive from the national park.

My dream was to return to Cheticamp Nova Scotia after spending years moving to different places with my husband Roland who was a military man. I am now where I want to be, by the ocean in my hometown. I love my village, the people and most of all the beauty that surrounds me.

This property is on the main street, but has a waterfront. One can walk to restaurants, bank, pubs, museums and of course to Le Portage Golf Course. The beautiful Cabot Trail is but a 10 minute drive and one can never be disappointed to be at this location.

Being downtown gives you the advantage of meeting local Acadians, going to a local restaurant or pub to eat and listen to local music, enjoy a glass of Nova Scotia wine, or beer without having to worry about driving.
