This is a 3/2/2 with a boat house, that sits on Canal 5. Direct access to Lake June which is Highlands County's premier lake for recreation, boating, fishing & skiing. Bring your boat or jet skis on your vacation and tie up in the boat house, and the trailer can be parked next to the garage. Access to the boat ramp, community park, nearby golf and restaurants. Close to downtown Lake Placid - a quaint friendly town known for it's: murals, lakes and caladiums. Sleeps 7: Queen in the Master, twin beds in bedroom 2, bunk beds and a full size futon in bedroom 3.

Placid Lakes Golf Course is just around the corner!

We are located in the center of the state also knows as the Heartland. With less than a 2 hour drive, you can plan a day trip to Tampa, Orlando, West Palm Beach, Fort Myers, Sarasota and St. Petersburg! So much to do and see!

Great place to stay.. has a covered boat house close tonthe lake can fish off the dock. House is well set up..we have stayed here twice and will stay again.

Cute and Comfortable

We enjoyed the neighborhood as we could walk easily and was close to Lake June. We walked almost every day down to the park. Enjoyed seeing the birds and boaters. We enjoyed being on the canal, rented a pontoon boat for a couple of days to get out on the lake. The house met all our needs, very comfortable and clean!

Lovely property. Updated kitchen. Dock was sturdy. We really enjoyed this property and its location to the lake. Owner was very nice and responsive. I would stay here again!

Beautiful Home in a Nice Neighborhood!!

This home was exactly as described in the listing. It was spotless, well furnished, well stocked with everything we needed, as well as having a great view! Location was perfect in a friendly neighborhood. Very easy check-in and check out. We hope to stay here again in the future. We highly recommend this beautiful home.

The pictures of the house didn’t do it justice!!! Close to the lake from the canal. No issues getting the boat in/out. Plenty of sleeping arrangements in the house.

Great stay

We had so much fun! We brought our boat and we’re out on Lake June in minute. The house was very clean and had everything we needed!!! Our dog loved the big back yard as well. We definitely will be back :))

Perfect for us.

The property was clean, roomy, comfortable, quiet and located in a very quaint city. We are golfers and there are courses within 40 minutes or less of this location. The property owners were very quick with responses with any questions we had. If you are a boater the beautiful lake June is very close by with canal access.

Nice Holiday stay in Lake Placid

My husband and I had a very nice 3 day stay while visiting our son for Christmas in Lake Placid. The house is clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The large fenced- in yard was great for our small dogs. There were even cute Christmas decorations.

Great Home in a Great Location

My wife and I were looking for a pet friendly home near Lake Placid Florida that had access to a lake. Waterway Inn was a perfect match for us. We rented this property for 3 weeks and enjoyed having a boat house for our boat and a fenced in yard for our dog. The home is exactly as described in the VRBO listing. Dylan, the property manager was always available by phone and immediately resolved any issues that came up. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors.

Great house rental for Lake June access

This home was great for bringing your own boat. We docked it in the boathouse in the backyard and had very easy access to Lake June. The house was very clean and very accommodating. There was nothing we needed that wasn't supplied. It's in a very quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors that we saw very rarely. We enjoyed going around town and searching for the hidden items in the murals, of which there are 48 in town. We lucked out and were there the weekend of the Caladium festival. They are dog friendly and the entire backyard is fenced in which was great for us being on the canal. As it was off season the entire area is very quiet and most places close down early, so keep that in mind when planning to eat out for dinner. There are a lot of thrift stores local. There is a Dollar General 2 minutes from the house which was very convenient. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we were traveling that area again.

Excellent stay
