Comfortable 2/2 in the beautiful Placid Lakes area of Lake Placid. This home has the ability to sleep up to six people with both bedrooms having queen beds and the living room having a day bed with a trundle. The kitchen has all new cookware for all your dining in needs. If you prefer to eat out there are two restaurants close by as well as a Dollar General that is within walking distance for any of those items you may have forgotten.
You can also visit downtown Lake Placid which is only 4 miles away. The downtown area has a brewery, wine bar, coffee & gift shop and, an ice cream parlor. You can find plenty of restaurants in that area as well.
If you happen to bring your boat you have access to the private boat ramp which is located just down the road from this home. A key card is provided so you can access the park and ramp. We also provide two bicycles for your use so you can explore the surrounding area.
If you are looking for more excitement you can visit Sebring and the world famous Sebring International Raceway which is just North of Lake Placid.

A great value for comfortable accommodations!

We appreciated the layout, cleanliness, small touches, and easy transactions of this property. If we come back to Lake Placid, we will be pleased to stay here again. Communication with the host was prompt and always satisfactory. The kitchen had everything we needed for prepping a few meals and we appreciated having the option of the blowup mattress and comfortable futon.

Great place.

House is clean and comfortable, well appointed. The only problem we had was the internet going down repeatedly throughout our stay. I can’t say if it’s the ISP or the router, and only add it to make the host aware. It was a great stay and we highly recommend it.

I like the back porch set out there in the morning and drink my coffee the grandkids and I walked around at night and felt real safe it was just a great experience I discovered this

Great value and nice property

For anyone needing to stay in Lake Placid, FL this is a solid choice. Simple two bedroom/two bath and the cost matches a hotel stay but better because you get more space with a living room/kitchen, etc. The owner keeps the property very clean and secure and gives an auto lock code for easy access. He is very responsive to questions also so this is our new go to place to stay to visit our family in Lake Placid.

Beautiful emaculate house in a very quiet neighborhood near lake Placid . This was the most pleasant, comfortable stay ( away from home), that I can recall. Very nice , quiet and clean.

Cute comfortable and clean

We stayed here during the 12 hours of sebring event weekend. we were very impressed by the cleanliness of this home! the beds were comfortable and the property was a very nice respite after long days at the race track. we would definitely love to stay here again!

Enjoying Lake Placid

Our stay was great. Our accommodations were clean, quiet and comfortable. Chuck was a great host, even came one night late to fix our TV. We were only his second guests so he is working on adding a few more amenities.

Winter Vacation

This was perfect for us. Was a clean and neat place. We felt safe and comfortable. We enjoyed the back screened in porch. Spent most of our time out there enjoying the sunshine. It was stocked well. The host was kind and prompt. We would stay there again.
