Perfect vacation spot!

My mom and I needed a place to stay in the area for a wedding reception, and this was the perfect spot! It’s conveniently located near cities/towns with lots of things to do. The hosts were very responsive and had the place all ready with everything, had lots of cooking supplies and appliances. It was spacious for 2 people but had room for more! I would definitely consider coming back again if we’re in the area.

Even has a dishwasher, washer, dryer and cooking pots. More than I expected!

Nice clean little space that is as advertised. I was visiting a friend in the area that lives nearby. That’s why we stayed at this location. The host answered questions in a timely manner. The only thing that I saw as a minor drawback is that the space is a lower level “apartment” so there is some noise from the upstairs that affected me being a very light sleeper. Otherwise no complaints and I would stay there again.

Perfect for what we needed

We stayed in this basement apartment during family weekend at Winona State University. We needed a place to crash and this suited the bill for us. Kids did great with pullout bed, couch and extra bed. It wasn’t anything fancy but it was clean and we were able to cook, sleep, shower. That is what we needed. Kitchen sink is a little awkward but not a major issue at all.

Disappointed

There were four of us in town for a wedding, and we were most excited about the location of this property and how clean it looked in the pictures. Unfortunately, we were not informed we would have to park off to the side of the property, not in the until after the property was booked; its a shared parking space with the upstairs unit. There wasn’t a path to walk on so we had to walk in the muddy grass. There wasn’t clear instructions on the check in process other than the check in time being 04:00 PM. The wrong number was listed for the property manger and then we had to call again to get the code to get in( keyless entry) The shower was dirty with hair, the floors didn’t appear clean( walking bare foot the bottoms of your feet would get dirty) there was garbage under the bed from someone prior. The towels and bedding had a funky smell to them. The sink for the kitchen was in the laundry room. We had to put paper towels in the wall to plug a hole leading to outside because bug were getting in. We couldn’t open the windows because the screens had holes in then and the only a/c unit was in the living room. The price advertised was 81 a night but we got charged way more. Needless to say we were very disappointed and couldn’t cancel because it was too late. We had to stay there because we couldn’t get a place anywhere else that short of notice.

Clean and Quiet - Good Location

We were in the area to ride ATVs and needed a place to stay. Nice and close to the trails and to Winona. Lewiston is a nice little town with friendly people. The apartment was nice and clean. The bed was comfy and there was good water pressure in the shower. I would stay here again.
