The property was accommodating and met our needs. It was clean, inviting. and cozy. My dachshund felt right at home. The Host was very helpful and supportive. We love Ocean Grove, and this property was in a perfect location. It was a short walk to the beach, and with it's proximity to Asbury Park, we were able to walk to several restaurants via the boardwalk or foot bridges. The apartment is quaint and charming, and exactly what we expected.

Vacation at Ocean Grove, NJ

The Allenhurst was very clean. All supplies were included. A short walk to the beach and able to walk to Asbury Park on the boardwalk. Really nice shops within walking distance. Very nice area.

Little Spring Getaway

The property is just as shown. Perfect for the two of us and our mini doodle. Location only 2 blocks from the ocean. No frills but clean and all we needed. Owners quick to respond. Check in and check out very easy. Could be crowded in high summer season but perfect off season.

Nice location

I would recommend. It's clean and bright but quite basic. Was only given on towel each for 2 of us and 1 hand towel to share. There were no amenities like shampoo or even hand soap for the sink and no back up toilet paper. It's fine but good to know ahead of time.

DO NOT STAY HERE Upon arrival my husband and I SMELLED GAS.I immediately contacted the host. The property manager said they have had multiple complaints about this before but "they've tested so it's fine". It is never fine to smell gas. That indicates a gas leak. I was not comfortable spending the weekend in a room with a gas leak with my family especially my small dogs. I was told there were no other available rooms that allowed pets so we found other accomodations.I requested a refund since we couldn't stay there due to the gas leak and the hosts have been putting me off for 3 WEEKS.Not to mention that after booking they sent me an outside pay link requesting a pet fee after I had already paid the pet fee upon booking through VRBO. **The top of every VRBO inbox chat explicitly says "Protect your paymentAlways communicate and pay through the Vrbo website or app".

Comfortable and convenient beach getaway

Location is perfectly situated in a quiet neighborhood close to the local restaurants and shops as well as only a few blocks from the beach. The apartment was spacious and just as pictured / described. Enjoyed having the separation of bedroom / bath areas from the sitting / kitchen areas. Would definitely return to stay here.
