.Less than 15' by bike, you have the beach, the boat, restaurants, golf.
The house is quiet and we have a kettle and a teapot to enjoy tea time by the fireplace or Everything you need for French cuisine.
Enough joking.

5 real bedrooms to sleep 9 people. This house has a Breton soul inhabited by my parents, we left many elements to keep the character of this beautiful house.

The House is managed by the concierge service I hope they speak English (just for fun)

The advantage of this house is that all activities are accessible by bike. thanks to the cycle path everything is less than 20' away and the walks are bucolic (customs officers' trails)

on top of all this you can take hour-long bike rides to Beg Meil ​​along the coast. 3 or 4 remarkable beaches will be on your way, considered to be the most beautiful beaches in southern Finistère.

The cycle path is usable for runners and walkers to take breathtaking walks starting from the house. The customs trail is a marvel.

By car the house is between Cornouaille and the Bigouden country so we go to Quimper, Pont l'abbé or Concarneau in less than 1/2 hour. numerous folk festivals are organized throughout the summer.

Surfing enthusiasts will find what they are looking for at La Torche beach, 1/2 hour away. Surf lessons and sand yacht rental are possible on site.

in Audierne an Aquarium is also a place to walk or in Brest (1 hour from the house) Océanopolis.

Kercolin's house is ideal for discovering this part of Brittany, it allows you to spend unforgettable holidays but also to work in peace while teleworking.

Lovely stay in great house

Great house with everything we could need. The Barbecue area was great and the kids loved playing in the garden. Very attentive host who helped us with check in. Bike at the house was great for getting to the local shops and beach.

We spend a wonderful time in Kercolin House and enjoyed it a lot. The house is wonderfully located in a large garden both in front and behind the house. There is complete privacy protection. You will find both sunny and shady places to enjoy the time in the garden. In June, the hydrangeas and the Agaoanthus flowers bloom here. The way to Benodet is short and can be covered without problems by bike or by car in few minutes. There you will find all the necessary things for the holiday (supermarket, wonderful bakery and pastry shop, shopping, beach promenade, every Monday market etc.)The way to the beautiful beaches, in Benodet and neighbouring, is also short and can be overcome without problems by car in short time.The location is excellent to explore the region of Fouesnant and Benodet, but also the whole Bigouidenland. Even excursions to Cape Sizun and Pointe du Raz are easily possible with about 1 hour drive. We (3 adults) enjoyed the three weeks of vacation in the house as well as in the region very much!As a small note: if the travel group is larger, additional deck chairs for the garden would be desirable as well as perhaps a second seat with table at the back of the house in addition to the existing beer table and two beer benches.In the bathroom on the ground floor, the water jet in the shower is a bit weak.Overall, we were very satisfied with the stay, the communication with the agency and the very friendly landlord Mr. Carriou. We would definitly come back again.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille dans cette belle et grande maison chaleureuse, très bien équipée et agencée. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. L’âme de cette maison est bien présente et diffuse des bonnes ondes. La cheminée fonctionne très bien et du bois à volonté. Grande cuisine. L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter et se promener. Et Mr Cariou est très réactif. Nous reviendront en été !

Wunderbarer Urlaub

Wir haben im August 10 wundervolle Tage in diesem schönen, alten, typisch bretonischen Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist schon etwas älter und landestypisch eingerichtet und bietet enorm viel Platz. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen, es war alles verfügbar (wie in der Beschreibung angegeben). In der Küche z.B. findet sich eine riesige Ansammlung an franz. Kochbüchern. Herr Carriou, den wir leider nicht persönlich kennen lernen durften, hat sogar für jeden ein Fahrrad besorgt. Der Garten ist umwerfend schön, die Lage hervorragend und ruhig. Man kann zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad zur Bäckerei und zum Supermarkt. Zum Strand ist es auch nicht weit (30min zu Fuß, 5min mit dem Auto). Eine wirklich sehr schöne Gegend und alles in allem ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Nous louons la maison de famille de ma mère qui a 96 ans. Elle est en maison de retraite et la location paye un peu ses frais et permet d’entretenir la maison . Elle est très contante que sa maison soit utilisée pour les vacances comme quand je venais avec nos 5 enfants . C’est la maison idéale, spacieuse, un beau jardin, à 2 pas de la mer, du port et des lieux de pêche. Emplacement idéal pour visiter le Finistère Sud.
