We enjoyed our stay at Breakers West. The condo was well equipped with all necessities from spices to cleaning supplies to beach towels. The short walk to the beach made it convenient to come back if needed. We shelled for hours and actually found two rare shells: Juniona and The Alphabet Shell. Would love to come back next year.

Sanibel is ready to host you. 26 miles of biking trails to the Community Center, Ding Darling nature preserve, and so many restaurants. This townhouse is freshly decorated and comfortable with good beds and appliances and many dishes. The lanai looks out to a quiet lawn and heated swimming pool. The pool is extra warm in the afternoon and has plentiful lawn furniture. The quick path to the beach had a visiting gopher tortoise and wonderful sunsets. The stars are amazing.

We had an amazing stay! Our hosts were excellent communicators- making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and useful tips for our time on the island. The condo was beautiful, clean, and very well-appointed. The private beach had more shells than I have ever seen! We had better shelling in our own backyard than we did at Bowman or Lighthouse Beaches. Our family of 5 adults had a memorable vacation - spoiled by the comfort and attention to detail of our condo!

Sanibel on the beach

Suite was close to beach, unit was very clean, and nicely decorated, pool was small but nice temp to just relax in, screened in outside eating area was a very nice place to enjoy a morning coffee and breakfast. Overall I’d recommend this property to anybody wanting to stay in this area.

Our connection to Sanibel Island began like it does for many people—through unforgettable visits to its beaches, wildlife, and quiet natural beauty. Over the years, those visits became something we looked forward to more and more, a place where life naturally slowed down and time felt simpler.

We were drawn to Sanibel because it feels different from most coastal destinations. There are no high-rises, no crowds of noise—just miles of beaches, preserved nature, and some of the best shelling and sunsets in the world. It’s a place where mornings start with a walk on the sand and evenings end watching the sun disappear into the Gulf of Mexico.

When we found this property, our goal was simple: to create a comfortable, welcoming space where others could experience Sanibel the way we fell in love with it. A place that feels easy, relaxed, and close to everything that makes the island special.
