Avon NC OBX Dog-Friendly Home - Short walk to the Beach or Sound - PARK PLACE

Located across from the National Park Service line. Our home "Park Place" is a short walk to the ocean. Ramp 38 is .2 miles away for 4x4 access. The Canadian hole is less than 2 miles to enjoy kiteboarding , sound side day use or evening sunsets.
The ground level has a carport, a lighted fish-cleaning table, and two entrances. The first living level of our meticulously maintained home has a large living and dining area with cathedral ceilings and juniper trim. The kitchen is well-equipped to handle casual fish-fry dinners, whether you're eating outside on the deck picnic table or inside on the large dining area. The master bedroom has shared access to the first Level bathroom. Upstairs , you'll find two well-appointed bedrooms with a Jack and Jill bathroom. One bedroom has two single twin beds and the other is a queen with a deck to watch evening sunsets. New vinyl floors throughout. Bed linens and a bath towel set for each guest is provided.

This summer, go directly to Park Place!

Things to know:
Up to two dogs are welcome for an additional booking fee - Pet fee is $150.

This home is equipped with a outdoor cameras for security, we do respect your privacy.

You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking, which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is great, supermarket and stores are within a mile. Excellent restaurants also close by. And a big thank you to our host. After driving 4 hours (half way to home) I realized I left my keys. Messaged our host and she found them and will be getting them to us. That is excellent service.

Our Favorite

This is the second year we have stayed at this property. It is directly in the middle of everything. A five minute walk to the beach, and 3 minute drive from the Canadian Hole, shops, restaurants, and grocery.

SO close to the beach!

The inside of the house looks exactly like the pictures. Very clean and well suited for a peaceful beach getaway. Lovely.

Perfect beach cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay at Park Place. The cottage was spotless, comfy and nicely equipped with everything we needed. Stacy offered us an early check in - greatly appreciated after our two day road trip. We love the quiet neighborhood and the short walk to beach access. We are windsurfers so being close to the Canadian Hole was great for us too. We hope next time we can plan to stay longer!

Short stay, happy vacationers

The cottage was just what we wanted. It had three bedrooms, plenty of bathroom access, and decent amenities. It was a short walk to the beach. I had several detailed questions, and Stacy responded promptly to all of them, going out of her way to make us feel comfortable and at home. I will keep Park Place on my short list for next summer!

Long Weekend

We checked in for a long weekend and Stacy was very responsive, her communication is quick and helpful! The house was very clean and well equipped. It’s on such a lovely quiet street the epitome of why we love Avon, close to beach access and a few great restaurants..

Great Location!

Our stay was fantastic, the home was just seconds away from the 4x4 beach access and a few minutes from restaurants. The home was very clean and had all the amenities we needed, as well as a great spot underneath the home for cleaning sand and salt off ourselves and our dog. We plan on returning in the future!

Awesome beach house

The house was a perfect get away during the summer. Our stay was relaxing and very enjoyable. We had everything we needed. We were close to the beach and the grocery store. We often cooked dinner and played board games at night and when it was raining. The owner always replied to my texts within minutes.

Avon Beach Getaway

Very comfortable. Kitchen has everything needed. Beach access across the street was challenging for me at age 80. ORV access was great. Also enjoyed the sound side beach right down the street.

Great location and value

We loved the location, very close to beach access on foot and via 4-wheel drive vehicle on Ramp 38. The house was clean, beds were comfy, bath towels nice and fluffy, and good water pressure in shower. Only a minor snafu with the check-in code, but the owner responded within 10 minutes to correct the typo. She was also very helpful with recommending places to dine nearby. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and look forward to our next trip to the OBX. It was a fantastic vacation!

My husband and I, along with a friend and her family, very much enjoyed our stay in Avon, NC. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was nicely provisioned and the beach is just a short walk away from the house. We would very much recommend staying here.

We had a nice stay at the Outer Banks from 6/11-6/17. The house was clean and ready when we arrived. Very helpful to have a check out list of the things that we needed to do prior to our departure. The owner of the house was very helpful and always responded quickly to our emails regarding questions about our stay.

Great time

We had a great week. The house had everything we needed and we found the location to be perfect. Close to all the things we planned to do and a very short walk to the beach. Little things like flashlights for finding ghost crabs at night were nice touches for my kids. Owners were helpful and prompt to respond.
