The Salty Cribb II is a newly renovated and professionally designed holiday home, with private beach and views of picturesque, Lunenburg. Located on a quiet peninsula, a walk away from The Ovens Park. Just minutes from pubs, restaurants, tourist attractions, beaches and shops, The Salty Cribb features three bedrooms, appointed with two queen, one double and one twin bed. Each with a fireplace. An eat in kitchen with island, separate dining room, front deck, cozy living room and water views. The rear lot includes a forest view and natural stone fire pit. It’s the perfect place to enjoy all that beautiful South Shore Nova Scotia has to offer.

Included in your stay are: high speed internet, all the kitchen staples, toiletries, board games, and curated guide to local attractions.

Couldn’t have loved our stay more. Beautiful property and view. Sunrises were spectacular from every window. Convenient location. Delightfully appointed and stocked. Comfy beds. Cozy accommodations. Just the perfect place to experience Nova Scotia for the first time.

Lovely waterfront location with dramatic sky views. Handy for trips to Lunenburg & Mahone Bay. Comfortable beds, beautiful linens, ample towels & paper goods. Well appointed kitchen with all the pantry items needed to make meals. Thoughtful touches in stylish surroundings.

The house was very clean upon arrival. The ocean front view is fantastic, and it is a short walk to a more sandy beach to walk on. This location is more rural, which was excellent for our style of getaway. There was lots of space and we loved the mornings on the front deck.

I stayed at this property with 2 friends and absolutely enjoyed every moment. We spent lots of time on the front porch enjoying the views and watching the boats come and go. It is located across the road from the water but you don't need to worry about traffic, we maybe saw a couple of cars go by the entire time. It's very quiet and peaceful. Every dusk, a family of deer would come and graze in the backyard. That was a bonus. The evenings had a spectacular night sky and you can view the lights of Lunenburg across the bay. Pictures of the house are accurate, the host answered our inquiries promptly and there was an nice welcome book with suggestions on things to do which we did find very helpful. Thanks Melissa and Rob for sharing this wonderful vacation home.

Time at Salty Cribb11, was just what I needed after emergency surgery two days after my arrival in NS My sister flew in from NF to take care of me .The ocean views from my room at night were beautiful.The front deck was our place to enjoy our coffee and read .A short ride to all inviting and shopping areas .Without hesitation I would stay here again ,Thank You to our hosts

A fully equipped kitchen. Bedrooms had beautiful ocean views. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels/linens. It was close to other places - Lunenburg and beaches. Local store had a variety of items including a little cafe. We saw deer in the backyard. Great place to stay.

Winter getaway.

Lovely house and location by the sea, my husband likes to look out to sea and view the Birds, he seemed to like it. Very peaceful place. Would recommend it!

Family girls getaway

Such an incredible place!!!!! Loved everything about the house and area!!! Walking distance to beach, finding sea glass, seeing dolphins and seals in the cove, close to Lunenburg ( which you can see across the cove), watching Anne with an E at night on the tv, I could go on and on about how wonderful this place is… If I ever come back this is where I’m staying!!!!

Comfortable charming house

Our family of 5 (and a baby) enjoyed our stay at the Salty Cribb II. The house is comfortable, well stocked, and a short distance to a great little store. The owner responded quickly when we did have a question.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay... great location from which to explore area.... spending some precious time with family... view onto Lunenburg Bay was amazing... especially appreciated how easy it was to communicate with the owners - they responded in a very timely fashion... highly recommended... just to be precise - it is close to a 25 minute drive to the town of Lunenburg

We loved this property! We loved the feel of the space, and the town. Evenings were spent relaxing with the fantastic antique books there at the Salty Cribb II, magically transporting us back in time. So much history, so much local great food, awesome sunrises and sunsets. We enjoyed gorgeous water views, with several days of local yacht racing. We experienced delightful encounters with wonderful people. The beds were nice and comfy and the house is well appointed. We had everything we could have wished for. Thank you guys!

Salty Crib is a gift!

The home is beautifully decorated, and filled with so many object d'arts to enjoy. Everything has been restored or updated with style. We stayed for one week and loved our time there and can't say enough about this lovely home by the sea and our gracious hosts.

Stunningly beautiful house and location

Oh, wow! Kinda felt like we were in a Vrbo ad… The house is a beautifully renovated old home just across from the water, and a couple hundred yards from the beach. Beds were luxurious, bookcases of interesting books. The neighbourhood is of older, well looked after houses on a quiet cul de sac on the ocean. Couldn’t be better.
