Casa da Fonte is located in the parish of Ginetes, on the western tip of São Miguel Island.

It is an excellent starting point to explore some of the island's attractions, such as the famous Lagoa das Sete Cidades, considered one of the "Sete Maravilhas de Portugal” (Seven Wonders of Portugal) or Ferraria's unique thermal baths and natural pools (less than 2 km away). Casa da Fonte is about 24 km from Ponta Delgada, driving through a beautiful regional road and with the sea nearby.

The space
With two floors, the house offers spacious and comfortable accommodation, including a suite on the lower floor. A number of amenities are available to make your stay enjoyable, including:

Beautiful country home!

This beautiful updated country home has kept its charm in the quaint village. Traditional Portuguese dishes are provided. The linens and towels are of good quality and the beds are comfortable. When we were there, the second shower did not work nor the stove top. There is no bathroom on the second floor. That aside, we enjoyed our stay very much. It was centrally located for our day trips.

Nettes Haus mit Einliegerwohnung. Eines der 3 Schlafzimmer dunkel und etwas stickig. Eine der beiden Duschen verstopft. Lob für Zwischenreinigung, auch wenn etwas kurzfristig angekündigt. Guter Mail kontakt zum Vermieter. Insel vielfältig, 5plus Sterne dafür. Auto sehr empfehlenswert. Autovermietung vor Ort in Ginetes. Extrem kundenfreundlich.

Hübsches, rustikales Haus in der Nähe von Hot-Spots

Geräumiges, gut ausgerüstetes Haus, neu renoviert und modern eingerichtet. Nette Vermieter und eine zauberhafte Betreuung vor Ort. Aufgrund der Nähe zum Ozean relativ hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit. Hübsche Terrasse mit Blick zum Meer. Attraktionen (Faro / Thermen) in Laufdistanz. 15 min mit dem Auto bis Sete Cidades. Absolut eine Reise wert!

Schönes, geräumiges Ferienhaus in angenehmer Lage

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt in einem schönen, geräumigen Ferienhaus mit 2 (eigentlich 3 Schlafzimmern) und 2 Bädern, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und sehr gute Mietwagenfirma in der Nähe, die den Flughafentransfer organisierte und uns den Mietwagen vor das Haus brachte und wieder abholte. Mit den Eigentümern des FH hatten wir guten Kontakt per Email. Vor Ort war niemand direkt, aber es gab eine Kontaktperson und sehr gute schriftliche Informationen. Schlüsselübergabe per Kastencode. Haus war sehr gut eingerichtet, alles bestens. Schöne Ausflugsziele in der Nähe.

Good house in great nature

We had a nice stay in this house. The house had a good view over the ocean... However, the house was damped and there was a smell of mould until the house was heated up. That took the most of two days...
