This is a fabulous location, apartment and the host is super hospitable. I would stay at this property any time I’m in Ponta Delgada. Very well managed.

Perfect City Location

Thank you to Luis and his family for providing us with a beautiful, spacious apartment. We stayed here for 4 days. Luis was waiting to greet us when we arrived. He took the time out to map out some great places to visit and restaurants to check out. Everything was incredible!!!! Best time ever!!

A perfect place to explore São Miguel

We loved the property and would stay there again next time we are in Ponta Delgada. The apartment is very close to the farmers market and the grocery store. You can walk easily to the museum, the library, and even the shopping mall if you don’t mind a little longer walk. The old center of town is very close and there are very good restaurants like Taberna Açor and Terre Verde tea house. If you want to rent a car, you can keep it for free in the garage underneath. All three bedrooms were very comfortable. Americans will appreciate the full size bathtub and that there is a clothes dryer in addition to the washing machine. Also a dishwasher and full kitchen. Overall, a very comfortable, clean place to stay for our week in the Açores!

Staying in Ponta

The property is perfect for staying in Ponta. Luis was easy to contact, and his property was very comfortable for us. The availability of indoor off street parking was fantastic, as the roads are tight, and crowded. Thank you again for letting us explore your island.

Wonderful cozy apartment in Ponta Delgada

Our family of 6 stayed and this lovely, cozy apartment for 3 weeks over Christmas and New Year and had a fantastic time. The kitchen was well stocked. The location was amazing. And the check in process was the smoothest I have ever experienced. The one time we had a small issue the host was fantastic about getting us sorted immediately. I would 100% recommend this apartment as.an excellent place to stay to explore the island of Sao Miguel. Thanks for the great holiday!

It was great we loved Ponta Delgada. Louis was very helpful. The only thing that I’d say was the parking I know he had a garage, but it was very very hard to get in and out of from the street because there’s a school across the street. We did have an SUV but it could be challenging at times. It was wonderful maybe a car would’ve been easier but we had six people

5-Star Stay in Ponta Delgada

Our stay in this short term rental was truly enjoyable. The location was perfect, situated in a quiet area, yet just a short walk from the heart of the city. This made it easy to explore Ponta Delgada and what the Azores have to offer, while having a peaceful place to return to at the end of the day. The property was clean, well maintained and equipped with everything we needed. We highly recommend it for anyone visiting Ponta Delgada and would definitely stay here again.

Just like Home

We are back at Family and Friends for a second time and always have the best time. Luis is always there to answer our questions and help in any way he can The apartment feels like home and had everything we needed for our 9 month old grand daughter. Located in central Ponta Delgada close to everything restaurants, cafes, bars and the City Pool. Will be back and book this apartment again Henry

Perfect in every way!

This property is exactly as advertised. In a great location within walking distance to the city center & coast. The garage is a huge plus to keep your vehicle safe & off the streets. Rooms are very nice size plenty of room to relax after a full day of exploring the Island. Washer & dryer are a nice bonus also. (some English instructions might have been helpful, but we figured it out) Luis is a wonderful host that met us & helped us get settled in, with great suggestions & a nice welcome basket too. Thanks so much for a fantastic stay in Ponta Delgada!

Perfect location

The property is exactly like the pictures. The location is perfect for walking around Ponta Delgada and taxis are very easy to get. Luis is very responsive to any inquiries/questions. There is a farmers market close by with great fruit/vegetables and the grocery store is just down a bit further. The restaurant food is very good with lots of choices. Don't assume all menus are the same -- the picky eaters of our group were pleasently surprised at the number of food options that we found. Highly recommend this property!

Wonderful VRBO Rental!!!

Wonderful VRBO rental. Luis was very informative and explained everything. The Azores are incredible and we hope to return soon. Would definitely pick this location again.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time staying in this great downtown unit. Luis ... we so appreciated your welcoming basket of local goodies. We also greatly appreciated the lovely lady who refreshed our bedding and provided us with clean towels. When we first arrived we wondered at tolerating the next door rooster 🐓 but by the time we left we truly enjoyrd his coc-a-doodle dos throughout the day. The central location is truly a goid thing as you can walk to many local attractions. Such as the bakery, the market, the museums, the parks, the mall and restaurants. lovely roomy apartment

The apartment is wonderful and the host was very accommodating. The neighborhood is great but anyone who walks a lot (like us) should be warned that the cobblestone sidewalks are very narrow and sometimes difficult to navigate. Clearly this is no reflection on the host or the apartment but it's good to know ahead of time what to expect.

Great stay in Ponta Delgada

Overall this is a nice property which makes you feel like part of the neighborhood. Big space inside that fit our family of 5 well. Most everything that we needed was stocked with small shops nearby for day to day supplies. Mall with large grocer only about 15-20 min walk. Short walk to city core and waterfront - 5-10 mins. We found this to be a great base to explore the island from with bonus garage for a rental car. Luis is easy going and responsive to any questions or needs. We’d definitely stay here again.
