Recently renovated, the Painted Lady is a colorful turn of the century Victorian complete w/stocked bookshelves and a piano in the parlor. The spacious 4 bdrm layout can easily accommodate 4 couples or 2-3 families w/kids. W/in walking distance of most Downtown St Auggie restaurants & attractions makes parking a breeze. If you're planning to cook/grill at home, you can even dine al fresco on the covered back deck w/dining table & sofa seating, as well as a fire pit. Close to wedding venues, too!

The host was fast with communication and check-in process was easy. Located perfect were you can walk to practically everything(St George St, brewery, distrillery, winery). House was beautiful and very spacious. I would rent this home again when I come with the family.

Cute place

Was a cute place just within walking distance of downtown activities. Host was very responsive with quick communication. The house does not quite match the description, but the host did provide assistance with the incorrect listing of a hot tub (not sure if this has been removed from the page) and a couple of minor repairs are needed. Overall clean and a good trip overall.

Needs work

Although this place had the charm that we were looking for in Saint Augustine, the pictures were totally different than the actual house itself. There were a lot of things that needed to be repaired and evidently the owner was unaware of them so I did let him know. He was very responsive, and hopefully these things will be fixed by the time the next person decides to rent it.

We enjoyed staying here. The house was within walking distance of the historic district. It took us ten minutes to walk to the Lightner Museum, and it wasn’t much further to get to St. George Street. We felt safe walking to the historic district and back during the day and also in the evening. The kitchen was set up well for serving. There was plenty of counter space to set everything out for our group of six. If you’re planning to cook, bring some measuring cups and measuring spoons from home. We were glad we brought our own, because there weren’t any in the kitchen. Everything else we needed to cook was there. There was a good assortment of pots/pans and serving spoons/utensils.

Family wedding

We enjoyed our stay there was plenty of room for the 10 of us. It was in a real good location. There was a fire pit in the back yard we wanted to use but ran out of time.

Beautiful

I was so pleasantly surprised with this property! Such a quaint home in a very quiet neighborhood. I had a minor issue upon checking in and was so appreciative of the fast communication with our host! He went above and beyond and to make our stay very memorable... I highly recommend this property!
