The Neighborhood:

Mission Hills is a historic neighborhood in San Diego located on the hills overlooking Old Town and the San Diego Bay, just north of Downtown, west of Hillcrest and south of the San Diego River valley. It is one of San Diego’s oldest and most desirable neighborhoods. The area is primarily residential with some locally-owned shops and restaurants. It is one of the most architecturally impressive neighborhoods with many of the houses from the early 1900s, which have been carefully preserved and restored. Modern homes were built as infill along canyon rims in the 1950s and 1960s. 🏘️

This was a perfect spot for a group of 7 women in town for a tournament. Beautiful view, jacuzzi was a treat, and not too far from everything we wanted to do. Would book again.

There were a few shortcomings in the property, a second nightstand in the bedrooms would have been great along with a light next to the beds and a full length mirror. The pots and pans were rather cheap and unsafe due to the handle over heating when cooking.There were some silverfish in the bedroom and the bathroom. I was not prepared for the level of noise when the doors were opened. It was a cute place and very clean. The location was easy to get around the city.

We stayed 4 nights while visiting the sites in San Diego and this house was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was fun watching all the planes take off and land from the deck view. With the patio doors closed it was pretty quiet. There is a lower unit that you can see off the deck area, but it was vacant during our stay. The hot tub was enjoyable. A perk was having a garage to park in also during our stay. We would definitely stay here again if we visit San Diego. The house was close to everything we wanted to experience during our stay.

Great central location for everything we wanted see and do. Property was clean and the view amazing. You do not need to worry about the flight noise, as my husband and I hardly heard any. We also noticed they don't fly out or in too much during the evening. The best part was the great mattress!!!! My husband normally does not sleep well in general, but kept on raving about the mattress. He had great sleep and I as well. Suggestion: if you want groceries or nearby places to eat... go to Liberty Station Market. They have lots of choices to eat(includes a couple of coffee shops, a brewery, Von's and Trader Joe's. All in all a great property :)

This home was absolutely perfect for our family. The property was exactly as advertised and even better in person. The views were incredible, the home is very well maintained, and was equipped with everything we needed and more. We thoroughly enjoyed the collapsible sliding glass doors, the hot tub, and the spacious lanai in particular. Adam and his team have created a very affordable, yet luxurious vacation spot. Adam was also an excellent communicator, allowing us to drop off our bags early, and when we ran out of hot tub cleaning solution, he had his team drop off a fresh bag that very same day. I appreciate how accommodating and committed Adam and his team are to creating the most pleasant experience possible. We will be back for sure! Thank you Adam.

Really enjoyed our stay. The unit was very nice and clean, the ammenities were great. The location felt close to everything and we really enjoyed hanging out on the back patio looking over the city and airport at night. With the doors and windows open, yes, there is quite a bit of freeway/city noise, but with the doors and windows closed at night, you could barely hear it and you could easily get an undisturbed good nights sleep. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place for a 4 day/ 3 night break in San Diego. The place was ideal for all the activities planned and central to most places..about 10-20mins either side. The house was excellent. The overall cleanliness, the modern decor plus the hot tub, amazing views of San Diego with the airport in front seeing planes taking off or landing and the amazing views of Downtown San Diego. Adam was an amazing host and was in contact with us everyday ensuring if we need anything to make our stay great!! We had no issues to report, and wish we could have stayed longer. Overall a 10/10 stay and amazing place, I think we will be back in the future and recommend to our friends & families.

Great little gem close to the Convention Center

Stayed a few nights with a colleague attending a conference. Property was very clean and presented as described. Host was ver prompt in responding. Will Recommend this place to my friends and will stay here again for future SD visits.

The property is in such a cute San Diego neighborhood. Close to everything. The home itself was beautifully decorated, clean, super cozy and very tranquil. The views from the balcony did not disappoint. While there's a straight view of the airport, airport noise was not an issue.

The kitchen had Everything we needed (and then some) and the beds were very comfortable. Conveniently located to many beaches, the airport, and a great location for families attending an MCRD graduation. The view of the bay and city from the balcony was especially beautiful at night. Very attentive house managers with simple and easy requests at check out. We brought our passport cards, and took a 25 minute drive to Tijuana, Mexico! ProTip: park in US & use the currency exchange in front of parking garage then use pedestrian west crossing-easy to taxi to shopping/bar strip called Revolucioń.We also went deep sea fishing, sea lion boat tour, and took a 2.5 hour scenic drive up the coast to LA; hit Rodeo Dr, saw the premiere/cast of the movie “Ella McKay” and while my niece got a tattoo, we read All the stars on all the sidewalks!It was so nice going back to the hot tub to relax before bed. Highly recommended!

Very nice property. It.would be nice to have a guest basket with maps of the area highlighting restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies. Little things like sunscreen, bottled.water, etc would be nice as well.

Exactly as expected

Exactly as pictured, but a little smaller than I expected. We knew it was a duplex, so knew it would be on the small side. We stayed for our son's boot camp graduation and we could see the base from our room. Close enough we could have walked to the base or the airport if we wanted to. Owner was very good at communicating- always got back to us right away and made sure we were happy with everything. We used the hot tub every night and it was interesting to watch the planes take of and land at night. We would definitely stay here again!
