Pre-Christmas Family Vacation.

We like to take our four adult children and their families on a week long vacation prior to Christmas. Villa Palermo worked out very well especially given the layout.

The house is better than the pictures! So much available for use to all the guest, from the kayak, to board games, to all the kitchen things we needed. The staff is beyond. The view is immaculate. The dock down to water is picturesque. Highly recommended all the way around. Thank you so much for you provided!!

Were did the time go?! We rented this Villa with Family and Friends for 10 days and it literally felt like we were there for 5 days! Paradise

This home is stunning, and takes your breath away from the minute that you arrive. It’s better than the photos in the listing! From the entry gate and up the driveway, the villa is beautifully landscaped with tropical flowers and palm trees. Open the front door and three huge double doors from the foyer frame the magnificent view of the bright blue water beyond. It’s a large spacious home, and everyone had their own privacy. Huge kitchen made breakfast easy for 8 of us. We had Gourmet Catering deliver on our arrival, and also went to Graceway IGA to stock up on drinks and snacks. The restaurants nearby are all excellent: Mango Reef, Mr, Grouper, La Brisas, Danny Bouy, and Bob’s; we finished the week at Graceway Cottage which was outstanding! We chartered a boat from Big Blue and spent a day snorkeling and island hopping. A couple of us also went scuba diving while the rest went snorkeling off of the beach at Bright Beach (at 9 am). We saw beautiful corals, sting rays, sea turtles, Nasau grouper, puffer fish and much more interesting marine life all off of the beach! We came back to the villa every evening and enjoyed the pool. On the first day, the water was calm and we were able to snorkel and kayak off of the villa’s dock, but the water was too choppy for the rest of the week. There were fireworks from different neighbors on Friday and Saturday evening, probably celebrating weddings. Otherwise, we never saw or heard anyone around the villa. It’s very quiet and peaceful. The perfect getaway!

Best Trip Ever

Villa Palermo was amazing and we hated to leave. When we arrived, someone was waiting for us to explain every detail of the property. The pool and setting are just gorgeous. The house is stocked with just about everything you need. You are about a 15 minute drive to the airport or 15 minute drive to Grace Bay, which has most of the restaurants and shopping areas. Enjoy Da Conch Shack, Bay Bistro, Shay’s, Bobs, CoCo Bistro, Hemingways, and Somewhere Cafe. In addition, Smiths Reef and Coral Gardens are also about 10-15 minutes away. We had so much fun parasailing(Captain Marvin’s), horseback riding(unique tours) and snorkeling(Caicos Dream Tours). It was such an incredible trip and location. We cannot wait to return.

Spectacular sunny retreat

This was a perfect week in the perfect location. Our two families enjoyed the wonderful villa and views. One of the best vacation rentals we have stayed in and we have stayed in many. Onsite team was amazing and attentive. We will be back for sure!

Outstanding villa sty

I have never been so impressed with a rental company as this one. They found issues on their own and had everything in working order by that first night. When they saw we had four kids they brought an air compressor and inflated a bunch of floaties for the pool. The kids loved that! The villa itself was gorgeous! It really functioned well for us. The kids all had their own rooms and bathrooms which was very nice. We loved the outdoor spaces. The pool in the sun and the covered porch when you wanted out of the sun. There was a convenient indoor/ outdoor kitchen. You could have the screen down when not in use, or up and it was a smooth way to transition food and beverages outside. The air flow of the house design made it very comfortable day and night. I would highly recommend this property if you want away from it all as well as other tourists!

Could not be more perfect.

This was our third rental in Turks and Caicos and was our favourite. As mentioned in other reviews, the house itself is large and comfortable.. No villas on either side makes it quiet and private. The indoor-outdoor kitchen is a nice design as the cook is not separated from family sitting out enjoying the spectacular view. Separate guest house is a really nice feature. In our case my daughter, her husband and their 7 month old baby were comfortably accommodated and a crib was provided. The interior layout is also thought through with the master bedroom at one end of the building and two bedrooms at the other end. All the bedrooms have their own ensuite bath which is great when you are travelling with three teenagers! They also have their AC although we didn't really need it. There are sitting areas and loads of books and DVDs if you need evening entertainment. I love to cook so I appreciated the fully equipped kitchen. Often vacation rentals have a so so kitchen set up with a few mixing bowls, no oven mitts and dull knives. Not this one. Knives were sharp, multiple cutting boards, two full sets of dishes for 10, a top notch blender etc. Pantry was also well stocked with spices, olive oil, vinegar etc. And you can stand at the sink and look out the large picture window at the ocean. Washer and dryer are a good standard and the washer is so large you can do everything in one load. Island Escapes is great to deal with - fast communication, mid week maid service and pool maintenance and available instantly if you have any questions. We had them do a grocery shop for us so that on arrival we could just settle in and not have to turn around and go shopping. Thank you Dineesh and Faye for all your help. Obviously you need a rental car but nothing in Provo is far away. The resorts on the north east side of the island are a 15 minute drive and there are two good IGAs for groceries within ten minutes of the house. There are also a number of more local grocery stores which are really worth the visit as you get a better sense of local food - more choice of conch and the large wild basil that grows there. And the joking around at the cash is pretty funny. We have already looked at dates for next year!

Exclusive, Private and Perfect

We enjoyed last week in this beautiful ocean front home in Turks & Caicos. The private gate, beautiful driveway and landscaping welcomed us to our home away from home. We had all the comforts of home and more. The freedom of having open windows and ocean breezes was a change from being secluded in AC with other home designs. It is a great design indoor and out. I saw a manta ray from the waterside patio and found numerous conch shells just steps into the beautiful water.

Family Fun 2014

Upon arrival I was really impressed by the view and the level of comfort that Villa Palermo offered. The unique Med style home put you in the Turks and Caicos (Island) mentality and sustained and refreshed it every morning and evening when the sun rose and set over the water. I am normally a person who needs AC at night for comfort but the weather and ocean breezes along with my daily dips into the pool made that need dissapear. This is a unique villa and is calling me back even as we speak right now! Please go and experience this island paradise and beautiful custom home. Thanks for the opprotunity!

Family vacation in Turks & Caicos

We had a great time at Villa Palermo and would highly recommend it to anyone considering it. We had a mix of ages, 2 in 70's, 2 in 50's, and 4 in mid 20's and all enjoyed the villa very much. The house and pools were in excellent condition (as good or better than the pictures). Peter with Seafeathers was very friendly, responsive, and helpful. We had a minor issue and Peter was right there to correct it 100%. The ocean views were magnificent, the bedrooms were all great for sleeping, and the inside of the house (kitchen, dining room, TV / entertainment area) were great as well. All the appliances were in excellent condition and worked well. The restaurants are very convenient on the island, not more than 10-15 mins by car. We ate at home about half the time, enjoying the ample kitchen. The Villa is not far from Grace Bay (8-10 mins by car) and a nice grocery store is only about 3-4 mins away (a little more expensive than you would expect). Enjoy!

Stunning and Comfortable

Villa Palermo is simply stunning, and our experience renting was nearly perfect in every way. I fear that I may exhaust my list of superlatives in writing a review that does the villa and management team justice. First the property itself. Even after viewing the VBRO site multiple times and reading the fantastic reveiws, I was simply stunned at the view from Villa Palermo's loggia, kitchen, guest cottage, and master suite - it is breathtaking. We spent nearly all of our time in the two lovely pools, lounge chairs, or occupying the comfortable seating on the loggia. Meals were enjoyed at the large outside table, which very comfortably seats eight. The grounds are clean and beautifully landscaped. We were pleased to find a quaint stone bench on the path to the swim platform, the latter of which was in excellent condition. We used the sea kayak several times and found it in excellent condition as well. The villa is beautifully designed and appointed. Bedding is new and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and provides a very large island as well as an open-air connection to the loggia. The island breezes kept the villa cool throughout a week of temperatures in the mid-high 80's. We did not need the AC at all, although it's available in each room for those who prefer cooler environs. Peter and Sally were fantastic to work with from first contact through our check-out, which came far too soon. They were responsive, professional, and provided excellent recommendations on car rental, restaurants, and excurions. My sincere thanks to both for responding so promptly to my questions and requests. This is our first time in staying in Turtle Tail after two stays on Grace Bay. We loved the peace and quiet you experience on this side of the island. Grace Bay and its ammenities are close by, but we enjoyed the peaceful view (very little boat traffic) and quiet evenings. We will be back as soon as we can, and we will arrange our schedule to stay at Villa Palermo again.

Sea Feathers and Villa Palermo in Turks and Caicos

My family of 5 recently vacationed at Villa Palermo and had a fantastic week. Not only were we greeted at the airport by Peter from Seafeathers Management, but he also provided us with a map and description of all the wonderful island activities (horseback riding, diving,sail boat excursions and restaurants). The villa was even prettier than the pictures. The pool and ocean views were exceptional, as well as the constant mild breeze and sunshine that was present each day. The location was close to both Turtle Cove and Grace Bay, so we had our choice of restaurants and activities very close by. The Food store IGA was also within a short distance to purchase food, beer or wine. The entire experience was phenomenal and it was made so much easier with the guidance of Peter and Sally from Seafeathers. I would highly recommend Villa Palermo.

Vacation in Paradise

Our family of 5 had a wonderful week at Villa Palermo. The house & grounds are beautiful, upkeep pristine & the view is gorgeous! Every night a more beautiful sunset. We were just as happy to be at the house lounging by the pool, playing cards, making fun dinners as we were to go explore the island, lay on the beautiful beaches or go snorkeling. We would highly recommend VIlla Palermo for any family or group vacation. We didn't need or want for anything. We hope to come back someday with friends or family.

Awesome Villa

Villa Palermo was the perfect place for our family vacation. We had been to Provo last year and rented a Villa on Chalk sound which was very nice but wanted to be a little closer to the Grace Bay area this year My husband, two daughters and their husbands spent a wonderful week in Provo at this Villa. The Villa was perfect allowing everyone space and yet a wonderful gathering area around the pool close to the kitchen and patio area. Peter and Sally were very helpful and gracious hosts. The pool was great allowing for lounging or swimming and there was a perfect place to swim in the ocean at the Villa. It was very well equiped and it was fun cooking in a couple of evenings and just relaxing around the pool although there are some great restaurants in Provo which we really enjoyed. The weather was great and the nights with the pool light and the moon shining overhead reflecting on the ocean was a gorgeous sight. Would highly recommend the Island and this Villa. It was truly like spending time in paradise!

Great Experience

We have just returned-I have been in the travel business since 1971-we have rented houses all over-Italy,Hawaii,Anguilla etc Villa Palermo was the Best-The pools as in the photos sparkle,are easily accessible so refreshing but when you want a great ocean swim or kayak ride simply walk down the stone path to the dock on the sea,The view spectacular-sunrise greets you daily,the gardens beautiful complete with visiting hummingbirds.The house is so well designed-people can rest or play without bothering each other-privacy abounds-the bedrooms well appointed/lovely-the gathering areas comfortable be it sitting in the sofa area by the pool,at the outside eating table or inside on the cozy sofa watching any of the large collection of movies.The kitchen is the center of everything,with great views,terrific working counters,all kinds of cooking equipment so well supplied-for those of us who cook it was a pleasure-for those who did have to check-in back home the internet worked wonderfully, We were a group of 2 children 3 and 5,3 young adults and a pair of grandparents -everyone loved it!!! We would like it seems all the other guests-add a special thank you to Sally and especially Peter -the site manager-from the meeting at the airport,his introduction to the house and island,complete with an unscheduled friday night ride to the wonderful new local hospital( someone cut themselves)-Peter was available,professional,caring.He answered every question,made sure all was in working order and that we had all we needed for a great vacation. This is a special place that calls for a return visit-we only hope it will be soon.

Our stay at Villa Palermo was fantastic!! We were a family of nine and can't say enough on how well the villa layout to accommodated us. The openess between the the kitchen and faimly area to pool deck is great and where we spent all our time.The views, ocean, pool and weatther were prefect. From jet skiing and snorkeling in front of the villa, to golf and fishing made this a special family trip. Planning this type of trip wouldn't of been possible without Peter and Sally. From my first call they responded to all our questions and accommodated our needs. As far as what to do, where to eat, or what to do, leave it with Peter he can help with that and much more. Hope you decide to stay at Villa Palermo and if you do make sure Peter lets you meet Faith.

Excellent Vacation

This was our second time renting a villa on Provo, and Villa Palermo did not disappoint. The villa is spacious, so each (three) couples had plenty of their own space and privacy. It is quiet and centrally located on the island, which made getting around very easy. The kitchen was fantastic and we enjoyed the husbands cooking for we ladies, a real holiday! Peter had everything ready for us, even a bottle of champagne chilling upon arrival. Very much enjoyed the poolside mimosas. We used the pool alot and kayaked quite a bit as well. Everything was so easy with Peter, he even moved us to this Villa as the original one we booked had major construction happening next door and he thought we would enjoy the peace and quite of Villa Palermo much better than jackhammers and cement trucks. He was right! Love the Villa, love the restaurants, love the island! Would not hesitate booking this Villa again or with Peter and Sally.
