1918 Family Home near Boston

Four-bedroom fully furnished home on a dead-end street, backyard, and driveway. We have a full kitchen, dining room, and living room. On the bottom floor, there is laundry. You'll enjoy the mornings on the back deck.

We are within 10-20 minutes of most Boston Hospitals by car and 60 minutes by bus or train.

The Jewelry District in Boston is only 36 minutes by car.

Enjoy your morning cuppa on the back deck. The table has an umbrella once you've embraced enough sunshine. We have a grill for your convenience as well!
There is a sunroom in the front with a table, bench, and 2 chairs. If you want to enjoy nature and the sun from inside!
Please note that babies are not included in the total amount of guests. We do provide a pack-and-play, and if necessary a blowup mattress.

There is a washer and dryer on the basement floor available for guest use.

I will keep my phone on me for emergencies at night andP have a housekeeper and maintenance person nearby if need be.

we are located on a dead end street. calm, quiet and peaceful.

You can walk to most destinations nearby if you like to stretch your legs. We are also close to the train station, bus stops, and Uber!

Due to a guest incident, we are changing our minimum stay to 32 days unless you have stayed with us previously.

Cozy bungalow

The house itself was small but cozy, and very clean. It worked well for our family, so everyone could have their own room. The neighborhood itself is a little run down, but it is convenient to Chestnut Hill and other western Boston suburbs. It is nice that there is parking available in the driveway. It was a little difficult to connect the tv to our streaming services, and there is only 1 tv. Wifi worked fine. The bedroom windows do not have blackout shades, so it was hard to sleep after the sun came up, but fine for early risers. There were also neighbor's exterior lights that flickered on and off and could be disturbing if you are a light sleeper.

Easy stay in Dedham

We came to Boston for the International Synchronized Skating Classic in Norwood Mass. Our dog sitter was not free so we had to find a pet friendly place. Luckily we found this wonderful property. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was stocked. It was a perfect place for us and our pups

Charming spot in Dedham

We were visiting my mom who is a resident as at a nearby retirement community and needed a place to stay. The house was ideal. Very comfortable. Great for 4-6 people if you're okay with one and a half baths. Close to downtown Dedham. Quiet neighborhood. Great stay.

Great location and plenty of space

We took our family to Boston to celebrate with other family members and rented this house. The location was great. The neighborhood is quiet. It’s on a dead end and there’s plenty of space at the house. The weather was too cold to enjoy the deck. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Boston area.

Trip to Boston for Football and Hockey

I went to Boston with some friends to catch a couple of games. This was an excellent location, easy to find and close to main roads. This house is older however it has been very well maintained. This rooms are large and the house is very well equipped if you want to do your own cooking.

Perfect location

Home was in perfect location for our needs. Quiet neighborhood and the home was comfortable and clean as well, with nice fresh towels and all kitchen amenities we needed. Coffee, tea, sugar and spices were nice to have for our use as well. Thank you!

Great stay with my husband and pup. Fenced backyard, clean and comfy home. Very communicative host. Definitely recommend and will probably look to stay here again next time we are in the Boston area with pups.

Very convenient for Boson College Law Graduation

This was the perfect home for our family to stay in for our sons graduation from Boston College Law School. The weather had been cooler, but Memorial Day weekend brought on very hot weather. Claire was very responsive in making sure someone came to put the air conditioners in. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed for a perfect weekend.

Great family get away

Our family came in from multiple parts of the country & stayed here for a week for my daughter's graduation from the New England Conservatory. It was perfect! 4 bedrooms and a full kitchen/living/dining room made it so easy for us to hang out relax while still being within easy access to everything in Boston. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, the chickens in the neighbor's yard were so cute! Our favorite was chilling on the front porch for coffee every morning.

Highly recommended!Cozy family home near the heart of Boston. Super quiet neighborhood located on a cul de sac street. Well stocked kitchen with all the essentials to make meals for 2 to 8 people. A WINNER through and through

This lovely home was hands down the best property we have stayed at through any company. The listing makes note of the age of the house but it was in far better shape than all of the "new or recently remodeled" places we have stayed. It was so clean, everything worked with ease and everything in the write up was true. Additionally, once we arrived, there were no surprises or the usual disappointments that we have encountered at other places. It is obvious that the owners take great pride in their property. I can't thank them enough for the care and attention to detail they exhibit. The fenced in yard was a great benefit for our dog! We used to live in the metro area and I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay close to everything Boston and the surrounding areas have to offer. It's a WINNER!

To be honest, the house was wonderful and clean. Only problem was, when we arrived on Friday night , there was no heat at all. It was 34 degrees in the house. Called the owner and he bought over 2 space heaters. He tried to get the furnace started, but no luck. He did get it fixed for our second night. I feel I should be compensated for the first night , due to no heat

Great Property

This was such an easy process, it almost seemed wrong. Most have a long list of do's and do not's, along with a long list of what you need to do before you leave. Not here, this was easy, great location for us and very comfortable. This is close to one of our kids and hope to book it again when we come back.

Fall Meeting in Boston

Family from Oregon and Kentucky came together in this wonderfully cozy and comfortable setting to enjoy a few days in Boston. The house was conveniently located for us, very clean, and had a fenced-in back yard that was perfect for our dogs to stretch their legs! Claire was a thoughtful hostess and extended a warm welcome to our group. Should we return to Boston and her house is available, we would gladly re-book.

If you want to visit Boston, but do not want to be in a hotel or someplace noisy, then this is perfect. It is a quiet street. The perfect place for kids to play in the yard during some downtime, bbq, and just enjoy being together.
The neighbors are friendly and quiet. It'll be a home away from home.
