Nestled along Florida’s Nature Coast, Island Place Condominiums offer a serene island escape surrounded by the natural beauty of Cedar Key. Located directly on the Gulf within a true nature preserve, the property is framed by swaying palms, warm Gulf breezes, and tranquil coastal scenery—an ideal setting to relax, reconnect, and unwind.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a fun coastal vacation, Island Place provides an exceptional blend of comfort, charm, and location. The complex is thoughtfully designed to reflect the historic character of Cedar Key while offering modern conveniences. Guests are perfectly situated next to the city marina and just steps from local restaurants, shops, art galleries, and the grocery store—no car required.

Additional Information:
• Grills are park-style and located at the end of the complex. Please bring your own utensils, charcoal, grill brush, and lighter fluid.
• No boat parking is available onsite. Public boat parking is located one block east or two blocks north, behind the museum.

Island Place is a peaceful Gulf-front retreat where nature, history, and walkable island living come together for an unforgettable Cedar Key experience.
Grills are park style and at end of complex. Bring utensils, charcoal, grill brush and lighter fluid.

Perfect weekend get away

Fantastic location with stunning water views. Lots of local gems not too far away (Devils Den, Rainbow River), Fun nighttime places on the water.

First time visiting Cedar Key

Property was as advertised. Very clean and perfect for two of us. Loved the balcony and pool. Had a couple of hiccups, but Julie and Bob took very good care of us. Looking forward to coming back to Cedar Key - best seafood ever : )

Perfect paradise

My husband and i took our son 12 and daughter 6 for a mini vacay to Cedar. My husband and i last went during our 6 year anniversary and it was so peaceful and beautiful. Its been 8 years since we have been back and taking the kiddos was a must. Access code entry was super easy and the condo was perfect for just the 4 of us. I did notice the pull-out couch in the living room is newer compared to the photos on the app. But no biggie because it was still sleepable. Only downfall was no sign of a first-aid kit nor kitchen scissors, please do get some. I also do believe a new can opener would be nice. Everything else was great and accommodating couldnt of been more pleased. The back porch literally hangs over the water and is the most amazing view on the island ! My son and husband fished all weekend ! From 6 am till midnight, catching at least 20 catfish, 1 flounder, and 6 horseshoe crabs. No eating, just catch and release and enjoying the relaxation with the family. The Pier is just steps away so no need to drive, but if you would like to rent a cart there is plenty on the island. The ice cream shop on the pier is delicious with multiple flavors to choose as well as a shot of alcohol added, if you decide to do a shake or smoothie. FYI Cedar Key is open container, but don't abuse the privilege. The pool access was a huge plus for the kiddos since the beach was a little too murky and seaweedy for my kids lol. I just could not be anymore happier with this rental ! Be back soo
