Nestled along Florida’s Nature Coast, Island Place Condominiums offer a serene island escape surrounded by the natural beauty of Cedar Key. Located directly on the Gulf within a true nature preserve, the property is framed by swaying palms, warm Gulf breezes, and tranquil coastal scenery—an ideal setting to relax, reconnect, and unwind.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a fun coastal vacation, Island Place provides an exceptional blend of comfort, charm, and location. The complex is thoughtfully designed to reflect the historic character of Cedar Key while offering modern conveniences. Guests are perfectly situated next to the city marina and just steps from local restaurants, shops, art galleries, and the grocery store—no car required.

Pet Friendly:
Pets are welcome with a $50 fee per pet, per visit (maximum one pet up to 40 lbs). Pets must be approved, are not permitted on beds or furniture, may not be left unattended if barking, and must be cleaned up after outdoors. Unauthorized pets will result in a $300 charge.

Additional Information:
• Grills are park-style and located at the end of the complex. Please bring your own utensils, charcoal, grill brush, and lighter fluid.
• No boat parking is available onsite. Public boat parking is located one block east or two blocks north, behind the museum.

Island Place is a peaceful Gulf-front retreat where nature, history, and walkable island living come together for an unforgettable Cedar Key experience.

The location was very convenient to walk to everything downtown. The property was clean. We enjoyed the patio and watching the boats come and go.

Great Condo on Cedar Key

My son and I stayed on Cedar Key to be near several inland scuba diving locations. This condo was an ideal home base for us. It was walking distance to all of the local shops and restaurants. It was very clean, safe and comfortable. We have many fond memories of the trip already and this place is certainly a big part of that.

Our stay June 2024

We were very satisfied with the accommodations, exactly as listed on website. Everything was clean, everything worked fine, bed was comfortable, you could see the gulf and part of swimming pool from balcony. Everything was in walking distance except the small airport (which we really enjoyed the ride) but we road our electric bikes there. We did enjoy our 5 nite stay. Would stay again.

The air conditioning works

The original property we were scheduled to stay in the air conditioning was out. The property management staff was very helpful and moved us to the above unit. The unit was well equipped for our stay.

A Peaceful Retreat

My honey and I are in the process of selling and buying a new home...yep, we needed to escape to somewhere without technology turned on, that cried out to us, come walk a bit with me, come eat a bit with me, come shop a bit with me, come relax a bit with me...My husband and I let this morning and we both noted how rested we looked. We did not think abou the house selling and buying the entire time. We love Cedar Key, and hadn't been there in over 20 years...such a precious piece of FL that has not been ruined by overbuilding, and high bldgs...Lovely lovely place and time.....thank you

Wonderful Cedar Key Property

Property was very nice and just the right size for the two of us. It was very close to everything in Cedar Key (walking distance) and the office people were very nice. I would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone. Now for the very minor things we noticed. The ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom should be replaced, we tried to use them but there was no way to turn on the bedroom one and the living room one made some funny noises. This was not a problem as we just used the air conditioning when necessary. An observation, there were too many chairs in the dining/living area, a coffee pod machine would have been better in my opinion but that is just my preference. A toaster (regular) instead of the toaster oven, again my preference. Not a lot of insulation in the ceiling and the noises from upstairs transmitted down to us. Overall a very good VRBO experience that we would do again. Thank you.
