REBUILT AND REOPENING SUMMER 2026!

Welcome to Unit 204 at Island Place, an exceptional Gulf-front retreat offering the perfect blend of modern comfort, historic charm, and an unbeatable location. Surrounded by swaying palms, warm coastal breezes, and breathtaking scenery, the property is thoughtfully designed to honor Cedar Key’s rich heritage while providing all the conveniences of a fresh, updated escape.

Best of all, you can rent Unit 204 on its own or combine with the neighboring Unit 203, easily creating a spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite. When booked together, the combined space comfortably sleeps seven to nine guests with two queen beds, two sofa sleepers, and one twin bed.

The property is ideally situated right next to the city marina and just steps from local seafood restaurants, charming shops, art galleries, and the island grocery store. Guests are welcome to use the park-style charcoal grills located at the end of the complex; simply bring along your own charcoal, lighter fluid, grill brush, and cooking utensils.

Please note that while there is no boat parking available on site, public boat parking is conveniently located just one block east or two blocks north behind the museum. Island Place is a peaceful coastal haven where nature, history, and walkable island living come together for an unforgettable Cedar Key getaway.

Wonderful Location! Great Time In Cedar Key!

Took a trip with my mom and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Cedar Key. The apartment was in a great location with water views. We could walk to restaurants by the water or into town. The apt was clean and we made use of the amenities such as the washer and dryer and the coffee maker. My mom took the main bed while I slept on the twin sized bed in the hallway. It was quite comfortable! We can’t wait to go back!

Great quick Visit! Loved it!

My husband and I have been talking about visiting Cedar Key for months! We jumped in the car eith our paddle board and kayak. We live about 2 hours away. The condo was cute and had all we needed. The patio was over courtyard:pool. We were near everything we parked our car & didn’t move it. Walked to restaurants and launched off by small beach it was great! We’ll be back

Great Time in Cedar Key

Location of condo unit is perfect. Within walking distance of everything. Nice pool. Condo is nicely decorated with great balcony overlooking gulf and pool. Kitchen is super small (only 1 person can fit into it) and appliances are old. Fridge ran noisy and stove didn’t work well. TV has DISH but not streaming capabilities. Otherwise condo is great for a couple or small family.

Accommodations where what we expected…provided info was accurate and up to date. Refrigerator ice maker was not working. Wi-Fi connection in the unit was poor…connection was intermittent and slow.

Super relaxing and perfect location

Great views of the water from our balcony, even better than pics show. Place was perfect for the two of us, comfy bed and well stocked. Everything is super close, a pretty five minute walk along the water to restaurants and shops. We saw lots of dolphins from the boat ramp the first evening. When went out fishing, manatees, sea turtles and dolphins swam right next to our boat and stayed in the area. Great place to relax and unwind for the weekend!!

Perfect location

This is our second time coming down to Cedar Key for the weekend. It’s quiet, relaxing. The unit is clean and the bed is so comfy. We love the location and ease of access. We will be back since we love Cedar Key so much.

Stay in 204 Island place.

Great location was the reason. Can walk to everything. Floor was absolutely filthy, turned our feet black, so had to wear shoes inside. Knobs on stove are all backwards. Could be dangerous off was on, low was actually High.

Fantastic Place!

We enjoyed our stay so much. The location of the property was perfect. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the place, great pool area and walking distance to restaurants was great.
