A Great Stay

After selling our home we were in need of a place to stay until our new home was ready. Everything about our stay was delightful and it was a much needed place to relax. Everything was delightful and the location was very convenient to everything.

Quiet neighborhood

Great little duplex in a quiet residential area. Close to Kings Bay Naval Base and downtown St. Mary’s. Can’t beat it for the price!

Quiet Neighborhood

Alissa did a great job with getting us in and filling us in with the activities and places to visit during our stay. We were there for a month and thoroughly enjoyed the place.

Quiet, cozy spot

The house was very clean and comfortable. Less than 10 minutes to downtown St.Mary's and the ferry to Cumberland Island, and close to a cool local eatery called Pirate's Point. Absolutely would stay again!

We absolutely loved staying here. Me and my wife came down to visit our son in the navy. The home was roomy and very close to the base. We will definitely love to stay here again. Exceptional water pressure in the shower and all the comforts of home.

Perfect for Cumberland Island exploring!

It was just the perfect space for us to jump on the ferry for Cumberland. Safe and comfortable and clean! The hostess was so very sweet and helpful even when I had to make last minute changes with my reservation. Can't recommend staying here highly enough!!

Great stay!

It was very clean and asthetically well decorated. Very relaxing environment. Only complaint was that the linens were not cleaned yet. We got in late and had to finish drying the linens before we could go to sleep.

It was relaxing and comfortable.

We had such a relaxing time. As parents to three very active kids we truly enjoyed the time away from the kids and the relaxation of it all. We were close to everything we wanted to do…the beach, parks, downtown St Marys. We loved being able to walk to Pirate Bar and the Dollar General. We enjoyed the neighborhood and the neighborhood chicken. Everyone was kind and courteous.

Great property to lay your head!

Owner is awesome! Response is immediate. The property is not in a resort area by any stretch, however close to beaches etc. A few good restaurants within 10 min and grocery etc. perfect for Cumberland Island super convenient to Ferry!

At Mary’s cozy quiet cottage

Nice property, very spacious in a quiet area. Need a car to get around. The bed was very high with a soft mattress that sagged. Lots of dishes although the pots and pans were well used.

Weekend of Island time

We made a day of Cumberland Island. The apartment is a few miles from downtown, but worth the drive. It was clean and in a very quiet neighborhood. My only complaint… the bed is really tall for a short person like me. Needs a stool to get on the bed. But other that that, the decorations, decor, and everything else made me feel loved! Hope to stay again one day!

You double booked me! I had nowhere to stay

We were 1/2 way to the property when I called the owner and she told me YOU had double booked the property. You refunded me, but I lost a wonderful, anticipated vacation!

My name is Alissa and I am thrilled to be your host. I am a local real estate agent in town and bought this property as a transitional home as my children grew up and flew the coup. They all got married and have moved on into their lives. I have created this adorable space and loved its decor and quaintness too much to rent it out monthly.
I pray you and your family will be comfortable here and will enjoy our lovely area.
It is not in a fancy location however, it is safe and has all the amenities of a home!
