It's also wonderful to know that the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free; we pride ourselves on creating a seamless experience from the moment you book to the moment you check out. At Northern Michigan Escapes, we understand that the little details make a big difference, whether it’s a prime location near Lake Charlevoix, walkable access to downtown Boyne City, or thoughtful touches throughout the condo. We’re so glad everything aligned to create a memorable and relaxing stay for you. Hearing that you plan to return is the highest compliment we could receive. We look forward to welcoming you back for another exceptional getaway in beautiful Northern Michigan. Whether you’re returning for the beach, a ski trip, a golf weekend, or simply to relax, we’ll be here to help make your next stay just as enjoyable. See you again soon!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such helpful feedback. We’re thrilled to hear you loved the great location, found the unit very clean, and enjoyed the view in any season. It also means a lot that you’d definitely stay again. At the same time, I’m sorry that check-in felt limited and confusing, especially after hours. You’re absolutely right that guests should not have to hunt for a unit or room number, and clear directions are even more critical when arriving after 5:00 when staff may not be available in person. We appreciate you calling out the lack of directional signage and that your check-in package didn’t include enough reference information. We’re already reviewing our pre-arrival instructions to make them more detailed and easy to follow, including clearer step-by-step directions, where to park, how to locate the correct building and unit, and what to do if arriving after hours. We’ll also be raising the signage concern with the building/association so guests have a smoother arrival experience. Thank you again for the kind words and for the constructive suggestions. They’re exactly the type of feedback that helps us improve. We’d be happy to welcome you back and provide a much easier check-in next time.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear you had such a fantastic stay at the condo. It’s great to know our staff went above and beyond by reaching out to let you know your room was ready early—providing personalized, proactive service is something we pride ourselves on to make each guest’s experience stress-free from the moment they arrive. We’re delighted that you found the condo beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Our housekeeping and property management teams work diligently to ensure every vacation rental reflects the high standards Northern Michigan Escapes is known for. The stunning water views and gas fireplace are guest favorites and truly help create that cozy, relaxing Northern Michigan atmosphere—especially during peaceful evenings by the fire. We’re so glad your stay was memorable and that you highly recommend the property. Feedback like yours helps future guests discover the exceptional service, beautifully maintained accommodations, and breathtaking views our professionally managed vacation rentals offer. We look forward to welcoming you back soon for another relaxing and unforgettable Northern Michigan escape.

Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re delighted to hear this room worked out perfectly for your weekend stay with your daughter and grandson. It sounds like having a comfortable and welcoming home base made it easy to enjoy the family event in the area while still having a cozy space to relax and recharge. The view of Round Lake from the porch is truly something special, and we’re so glad you were able to enjoy peaceful mornings there before heading out for the day. It must have been such a joy to watch your grandson delight in seeing the boats pass by—that’s a memory worth holding onto. We’re also happy to hear that the location made it easy for you to walk downtown and enjoy breakfast, which is such a wonderful way to wrap up a Northern Michigan weekend. We appreciate your thoughtful review and are so pleased the space, view, and location all worked together to make your stay enjoyable.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you appreciated the outstanding location and breathtaking views, but we’re sorry the overall condition of the property and building affected your stay. We understand how concerns like broken windows, bugs, and general maintenance issues can take away from the experience, even when the location and views are excellent. Your comments will be shared with the appropriate management and maintenance teams so these items can be reviewed and addressed. We also appreciate your feedback about the sleeping arrangements. If a unit is advertised as suitable for four adults, the pullout sofa should provide a reasonable level of comfort. We’re sorry the sofa bed and mattress did not meet that expectation and that it made the stay uncomfortable for additional guests. We’ll share this with the ownership and management team for review, as guest comfort and accurate occupancy expectations are very important. Thank you again for recognizing the positives while also providing specific concerns. Your feedback helps us identify where improvements are needed so future guests can have a better experience.
