Fall Family Getaway

We had a great stay! The house had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we felt at home. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. Even though it was chilly we enjoyed some time on the lake in kayaks.

Great house, beautiful location.

Had a wonderful stay at the Lakehouse. Along with the beautiful view, this great house came full stocked with blankets, pillows, towels, crayons, markers, and plenty of toys and games including cards and poker chips. Had a great weekend with family here.

Beautiful house with a wonderful view of the lake.

House was wonderful and clean, we were left a wonderful bottle of wine. Accommodations were perfect for our needs. Definitely would love to rent this property again. Being there brought back wonderful memories for my husband and sister who visited the Lake many times when they were young with their Grandmother.

Since your stay, we have ripped out part of the ceiling and installed new boards, as well as painted. We got all new exterior furniture and have two new recliners coming tomorrow. As for the rust, I do apologize as no one made us aware of it & will replace the items. Every season, we try to update fixtures/items around the house. We’ve done a lot since purchasing the home, but there always is more to do. We hope that you come back in the future to see the improvements we are in the middle of making.

We had so much fun on our mini vacation! The house was so clean and stocked with everything we needed! This is the first time staying somewhere that had amazing beds!!! Comfortable waterfront home

Very quiet neighborhood home with easy access to lake. Enjoyed being able to sit on the dock while the family/kids swam and took the kayaks out. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. Living room and fire pit area easily accommodated our family of eight for sharing fun evenings together. Saw a shooting star and eagles from the dock!

Wonderful home, wonderful location! Everything at your fingertips for a perfect weekend getaway at the lake. Beds were comfy. Wood stove came in handy and made the home cozy. Amanda was a amazing at the communication and was very kind during the booking and planning process. Location was amazing!!! We woke up everyday and admired the lake view. Lots of nature to see.. The home was comfortable. The bed was nice and comfy. You had everything for the most part. The outside area needs some attention but it was all in all a comfortable stay. I would definitely book it again. Just needs some tlc outside.

Great location

Overall we had a great trip. Location was great and views spectacular. The house was not worth the money in our opinion as we had some issues with the appliances and cleanliness but the host was quick to respond and make right. Don’t let these issues stop you though as I know a lot of what we ran into can be chalked up to end of season wear and tear

We never believe the pictures to represent current conditions, but this rental was the worst. The deck in photos was beautiful but in reality, had paint peeling railings, worn deck boards, furniture with stained and damaged cloth seats, a grill that was rusty and oily and, we would not use even if starving. Steps leading to the lake were many and not all in good repair. Next to the grill were three over the hill coolers which should have been tossed. The drive from the road to the house is very steep! We did not stay for our full rental period.

Len, we are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay & while the home is not perfect by any means, your expectations & complaints you sent to me separately did not align with someone that has ever stayed in a rural/lake home. Bird poop, cob webs, bugs, & leaves on the exterior are normal as you are in nature & in a wooded area. The coolers are there as a courtesy to use, but are not really a part of the home. The deck has peeling paint, yes but is the same in the photos as we have not replaced it yet as we intend to do. We have done several improvements to the home since purchasing it, but it is a lake house. It is rural & rustic. We are a cabin style, not a mini mansion. Please align your expectation with the locations you visit. We hope you opt for a more suitable rental in the future, but it won't be with us.

Fantastic House, Perfect Location

Hideaway is an amazing property in a perfect location. The house is located less than five minutes from the grocery store and less than ten minutes from multiple bars and restaurants. The living room and dining room comfortably fit our group of six and the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with all the essentials (and more!). The back deck offers a beautiful view of the lake and there was plenty of seating down by the dock. Amanda was extremely responsive and quick to respond to any questions we had. This is a great property. We will definitely be returning!

Perfect location

The house was in the perfect location. Love the size of the house. The dock was amazing and we were able to rent our own pontoon boat for thr week. The only issues were that it smelled like dog a little when you walked in. It was pet friendly and didn’t know so my son broke out a bit. The outdoor furniture was old and unusable. Glad we brought our own chairs. Was an easy check in process and owner got back to us quickly. Had a wonderful time with my family.

We are Frank & Amanda. We are Realtors & investors in the Lehigh Valley & lake lovers to the max. We bought this home so that our family can enjoy it, as well as other families through booking sites such as VRBO. We are very easy to communicate with & hope you have a great stay!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We fell in love when we walked in & saw the expansive windows in the living room. The open concept works very well when hosting & the number of people that are able to enjoy the home at once is convenient. The home has a beautiful dock where you can pull up your boat, use to fish, or just hang out on. The setting is serene, yet very close to amenities, restaurants, & the boat launch. This home really has it all!

この宿泊施設の特徴

Parking for 4 cars, private u shaped dock in great shape, 5 minutes or less to amenities, no wake zone in front of home, close to public boat launch
