The ToolShed Cabin at FireFly Acres

Step into the ToolShed Cabin, a cozy retreat with a playful vintage tools theme that guests often call “charming, unique, and full of character.” Decorated to match its name, the cabin combines rustic details with modern comforts, making it a favorite for couples, friends, and families alike.

Inside, you’ll find:

Two comfortable double beds with fresh linens—guests often comment on how well they sleep here.



A small dining area perfect for sharing meals or playing board games.



A kitchenette with everything you need for simple meals: a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, and a coffee station stocked with coffee (because mornings should be easy).



A private bathroom with a shower and vanity, kept sparkling clean—something our visitors frequently appreciate.



The real highlight is the covered back porch, complete with rocking chairs and sweeping views of the pastures and rolling hills. Guests love starting the day here with coffee in hand, or winding down with a glass of wine while watching horses graze and deer wander by.

Beyond the cabin, you’ll have access to all the beauty and amenities of FireFly Acres:

Wooded hiking trails right on the property.



A huge outdoor pavilion with a stone fireplace—perfect for gathering with friends or meeting fellow travelers.

And because we know pets are family, the ToolShed Cabin is proudly pet-friendly. Just add a one-time $50 pet fee, and your four-legged friend is welcome to join the adventure.

When you’re ready to explore, you’ll find five Tennessee State Parks, including the amazing Fall Creek Falls State Park all within 30 minutes from the property! 

Historic town of Sparta is only 10 miles away, with eclectic restaurants and charming shops. Guests say they love how easy it is to balance outdoor adventures with small-town discoveries.

Absolutely one of, if not the best VRBO ever!!! The cabin was simple, spotless, well kept, all we needed. The Hostess was the most pleasant I have ever had the privilege of knowing. She was warm, friendly, personable, with a great sense of humor. I especially appreciated sitting on the back porch and watching the chickens literally within feet of me. 5 stars is not enough, more like 10, this little trip for My Wife and I was perfect for what we needed. I would recommend too my friends and family and encourage them to go. Too the Hostess, Thank You So much for your personalized touch, means more than you know.

Just as advertised...the perfect combination of rustic and comfort. Exactly what i needed. Easy check in, next to nothing for check out tasks, and George the cat got along great with my boxer. Breakfast and coffee on the deck worth the price alone. Thanks for a perfect weekend!

A recommendation

This place is very quaint and cute and well managed. In a row with 4 other cabins and plenty of room between, a little dicey with the drive near the cabins as it’s a very narrow road but does have a turn around at the end and we really had no problem with other campers and car bumps in and out. Only suggestion would be listing pet fee on the actual description. Pets ate mentioned twice but we somehow missed the fee until we were almost there and had to add the extra money. Just would be nice to know going In. It was supposedly added at end of payment but somehow I missed that.

Perfect place to rest and recharge!

Sparta is the 1/2 way point between me and my best friend from high school. It was the perfect location and we had plenty of room with the two of us and our dogs. The staff was very responsive and helped make our stay enjoyable. The only thing I would recommend is wearing boots and tick spray if you go on the trails! They are pretty overgrown. Other than that, everything was perfect!!!

Paradise

Easy check in , attentive host,thoughtful hosts. It was clean, beautiful location. I just cannot spraise this place enough. The only thing i would add for improvement is better trail markings. I will definitely be back next spring, but hopefully sooner. This place was wonderful.

Cute Cabin!

Cabin was perfect for the weekend. You could tell a lot of thought went into it when it was being decorated. The hosts were wonderful and made getting to and in the cabin super easy. Would definitely recommend.

Very peaceful

My friend and I stayed here to be close to Fall Creek Falls as we did the Mammoth March (20 miles in 1 day). We did not spend much time at the cabin, but the stay was exactly what we hoped for. The view was pretty as we overlooked the field with beautiful horses. We were exhausted and the cabin was a nice place to unwind, relax, and recharge after a grueling day hiking for over 10 hours straight. We enjoyed the Toolshed decor as we both like antiques. Everything was very thoughtful and we did not need to ask the host for anything while we were there. Thanks again!

This was a beautiful little cabin! It a as perfect for us to stay in for our first night as a married couple since the venue was right down the road! Everything was perfect and there was even a bottle of Champagne waiting for us when we got there! 10/10 would recommend staying there!

Relaxing

This property is fairly secluded so it was very peaceful with beautiful views. It only takes a few minutes to reach a highway that makes the trip to Sparta easy. Sparta is a cool little town with several wonderful restaurants.

Best time here

We had the best time on this farm! Our cabin was perfect. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. The property owners were so nice and got us stuff for a fire one night also! We would definitely come back here again!

Firefly - The Tool Shed

Our stay at Firefly acres was fantastic! We brought our furry friends and even though it was raining when we got there it didn't stop us from exploring the properties in the trails right outside our door roasting marshmallows and enjoying coffee on the back porch covered of course. The property is just as described and in great proximity to fantastic state parks and quaint towns highly recommend Sparta downtown the coffee collective and the pizza joint right next door...top notch. Great time with the love of my life and our furry babies.

Loved It!!

The Toolshed was such a quaint, wonderful getaway for my husband, youngest son and I! The view was spectacular… I loved watching the horses every morning. My son & husband hiked around the trails with our small dog, and had a great time exploring. Coming from a busy beach town in FL to a quiet spot in the mountains gave us a Thanksgiving to remember (complete with an iHOP to-go feast). Thank you Firefly Acres!

Loved the Toolshed

My husband wanted a rustic cabin experience and I wanted a clean safe place to stay. The Toolshed was a perfect solution. Everything you might need, including really great coffee, is available and we actually didn’t need to contact the host between check-in and check-out. It’s a beautiful place, secluded and quiet with a great view. Also an easy drive to several state parks that are home to many waterfalls. We accidentally left a pair of glasses behind and Victoria sent them to us the next day. Overall a great experience.

Great weekend !!

Great time, we did a wonderful adventure Cave tour, hiking...very central location to Fall Creek Falls etc. Delightful experience all the way around. Good, responsive communication. The views are just right...rolling countryside, horses, off the beaten path.

Hidden treasure

What an amazing hidden treasure in the most serene of areas!!! From the beginning of us planning this time away, the hosts were most accommodating, even arranging for us to get the dates we were desperately seeking to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles as a family. The cabin was clean, adorably decorated, and perfect for our family and fur friends. Nestled in the hilltop and off the beaten path, we were able to enjoy such an amazing time of refreshing. The hosts were incredibly gracious and catered to our every desire. We will be back!!!!!

A+! Awesome, peaceful.

The tool shed was the cutest little cabin. We loved it. Absolutely pristine inside and out. The cabin is in a group of 4 other cabins overlooking a beautiful view. There’s a beautiful big pavilion on-site with a big fire pit, not far from the cabins. The cabin has an enclosed deck on the back which was perfect for out two dogs to enjoy while we rocked in the rocking chairs. It was well stocked with basics-dishes, microwave, fridge, coffee, soap, shampoo, etc plus books, puzzles, etc . There are also some walking trails up in the woods they are carving out…we took the dogs and saw a deer! The owner was very nice, only thing is we had no communication with her until we were actually onsite. We didn’t know exactly what to do when we got there but finding her was not that hard. We really enjoyed our short stay.
