We had a wonderful week staying at this rental property! The house was very clean and kitchen well stocked with necessities. Quiet location with beautiful view of the cove and mountain. The beach and water clean and great for kids. Good size clean swimming area. A great place for making memories. A good time had by all.

We enjoyed our time here. Sweet corner of the lake, with excellent sun in the early afternoon into the evening. Appreciate how very clean the house was. However, it was very tricky pulling our full size pickup and boat trailer in/out of driver as the street and driveway are both narrow. Boat ramp was a short drive away which was nice and there were plenty of places to eat out at so I almost never had to cook.

This house is right on the Lake and a great place to stay! It was very convenient to have access to Lake Winnipesaukee (Salmon Meadow Cove) via the beach and dock right at the house, which works well for small kids to play and splash in the water. Since it’s within a cove, the water is very calm and serene. The house was clean and well-maintained, with lots of gear for recreation on the water. The owner was very responsive and communicative. Overall, the house was a perfect spot for our family to relax and enjoy the beautiful views during the summer. Would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful location with private beach front on quiet cove! We loved the peaceful mornings listening to all the birds! We enjoyed the paddle boat and canoe that the owner provided. We rented a pontoon boat and were able to pull right up to the private dock. The house had everything we needed. It is an older home but was neat and clean and very spacious. The owner is very personable and communicated promptly.

Lake Life Amazing!

Renting this property was enjoyable and staying there was relaxing and you would live a lake life experience. Family had a great time there and wants to go back again!

Great vacation for family

Beautiful lake front property, house has everything you need, swim right off the dock, canoe and paddle boat to use, lots of fun for the kids! Screened in porch with gorgeous view!

Family Getaway

Stayed at the house with my wife ,son , his wife, and grandkids. The kids really enjoyed the water. There is a lot to do in that area. We had a great time. Bernie was great to deal with.

Amazing Stay Once Again!!

This was our second summer staying one week at this beautiful lakeside home. It is so clean and cozy, and is the perfect place for a family vacation. The cove is so quiet and peaceful, and Bernie responds immediately if there are ever any questions. We're already looking forward to next year!!

Another great vacation

We have stayed here for several years now and it never lets us down. The house is comfortable, with a great screened porch we all enjoy eating on. The cove is a safe place where the kids enjoy fishing, catching frogs, taking their row boat out and swimming. It’s just an all-around safe place to bring the family. I highly recommend for your family vacation!

Comfortable home in a quiet cove; great beach for kids

We had a great stay on the quiet Salmon Cove in Lake Winni! The home was clean and comfortable and a nice size for our family of 4. We loved dining on the screened porch and using the paddle boat and canoe and seeing loons and bald eagles. The sandy beach and calm, shallow waters were perfect for our two kids, ages 5 and 2. Check in and check out were easy and convenient.

Vacation

This is our 5th year staying here and once again had a great time. The cove is perfect for families with young kids. After boating all day the kids loved to explore the beach finding turtles, frogs, fish etc. Bernie is very responsive to any needs we had. Highly recommend and look forward to next years vacation!

Great stay, super responsive owner

Owner was responsive and available for questions before trip. Sleeping accommodations were comfortable. There was lots of living/shared space indoors and on screened porch (the kids called it the fun room.) Nice quiet cove with beautiful views. Only con is needing to bring linens and towels without having laundry on site.

We’ve been coming to the same place for years now and every year our family makes lifelong memories. Check in is at 3 and the house is clean and ready. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, and a beautiful screened porch to feed everyone in. The beds are comfortable, better than a lot rentals I've had before. The owner leaves an instruction sheet with everything you need to know - wifi password, tv instructions, trash instructions etc. The cove is great for families with little ones. Boat traffic is limited and the wakes don’t cause a risk. And to fall asleep at night listening to the loons…nothing better. The owner is very responsive to all requests.

Fun week!

overall, this property is great. The neighborhood that it is in is quiet and wonderful for morning walks. The house itself is older, but has all of the things a family would need. It was very clean upon arrival. My only suggestion would be to include a humidifier in the upper living area as the house did smell a bit damp However, my suspicion is that it is because of the extreme amounts of rain that the region has experienced over the last few weeks. The location on the lake is absolutely perfect. It’s on a very quiet and secluded cove that has very easy access to the open parts of the lake. It was really nice to spend the days out on our boat on “the big part of the lake” and be able to come back to a nice quiet area in the evening. The neighbors are super friendly too -we conversed with them a bit. The owners of this property were extremely easy to communicate with, and were very attentive to any questions that we had.

Beautiful, peaceful vacation getaway!

We had such a great week, we did not want to go home! The house was a perfect size for our group, the kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance/utensil you could think of. I’ve seen comments on the bedrooms being small and yes they are, but it didn’t matter to us, as you just use it for sleep and spend 99% of the time on the water anyway. I did not personally try every bed but had comments from some in my group that one of the beds was uncomfortable, but overall we were comfortable. The screened in porch was such a beautiful space and was larger than we expected! There is a futon on the porch but we found it too uncomfortable to sleep on, but it was comfortable to sit and read on. I didn’t see it listed on the description but there is a gas grill on the deck! The yard is small but still was a perfect size and the owner has 3 large umbrellas and a bunch of outdoor chairs available for use. There is also a chiminea that overlooks the lake. The paddleboat and canoe were great to have on hand. The cove itself was mostly calm & quiet. The neighbors are friendly and very quiet and the boat traffic on the cove was almost non-existent, we spent most of the week either on our floats in the middle of the cove or out on our kayak. This is a beautiful, calm, peaceful cove and we loved it! We will definitely come back again someday!

We have been staying here every August since 2019 and it’s just perfect! The house is clean, well maintained. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and serving. The beach area is safe, in a quiet cove without a lot of boat activity. Bernie is a great host, very responsive, easy to work with. He has welcomed our crazy crew every year and we appreciate it! Highly recommend!!

This home was clean, The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans, and dinnerware. The host was responsive.The beach was awesome as were the canoe and paddleboat!

This is a gem of a ranch style house with a sandy beach on a wonderfully lovely calm cove in Moultonborough. We were so pleased that the information on the Vrbo site was so accurate. The house was just right for my husband and I, my daughter son-in-law, and 5 & 2 year-old grandsons. It was very clean, the kitchen well equipped, the screened in porch was super, especially when someone got up early as was at the other end from the bedrooms. The beach Adirondack chairs were great and it was fun to fish off the dock and also use the paddle boats. So handy to have life jackets for the children and we left a smaller one that my 2 1/2 yr old grandson had outgrown. The swimming was great and there is a clothesline at the front of the house. There is a bit of a hill to go from the parking area to the front door and a flight of stairs from the back door down to the beach area. Heath supermarket is just 1 or 2 miles away. We enjoyed Paradise miniature golf, the Loon Center, the Brook walk at Castle of the clouds. We also drove up to see the Flume in Laconia area, which was spectacular. Enjoyed Chinese takeout from Lee Wah. We all agreed that we hope to return next summer, if there is a week available.
