This 5 bedroom, 3200 sq foot stunner will not disappoint. The first floor of this home offers an open floor plan with a large kitchen and over 1200 sq ft of open space for dining and entertainment. You’ll also find the first of 5 bedrooms off the main floor along with a full bath. As you make your way to the second floor you’ll find a reading nook that with a sofa bed. 3 large bedrooms are located on this floor including an on suite master and laundry off the hallway.

This house was beautiful andperfect for multiple families in town for a wedding! We recently stayed two nights and it was so convenient to be walking distance to the venue. There was plenty of space, it was clean, and had everything we needed! There was even a small bar room not pictured. The whole house was beautifully decorated. However, we did have a few considerations for improvement: most of the blinds were broken in the bedrooms making it difficult to open them and some of the lighting did not work (the vanity area, lamps in bedrooms, etc). Also, in a house so large, another TV would have been nice (maybe upstairs in the common area). Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this house!

Large Beautiful Home

We rented Hook, Wine & Sinker for our family to stay in during the weekend of our son's wedding in Chesapeake City, MD. The home is absolutely beautiful, very clean, spacious, and one of the best rentals that I've stayed in with VRBO.

NEW YEARS SAVIOR

We rented because we lost our vacation home to a Christmas EVE sprinkler system pipe explosion. This home was ideal in size and location. The property was short on daily essentials, but this could have been due to the last-minute booking.

WE had NO hot water the entire time we were there, the gas to the house was turned off because of lack of payment from the owner. When the gas company finally showed up they red tagged the house as there were gas leaks inside the house. I had to spend my afternoon waiting for the gas company to let them into the house. The day we arrived it was warm out , turns out the AC upstairs didnt work either. The owner said he send someone to fix but they never showed up. Then it got cold, since the gas was turned off the house also had no heat. I was there for my daughter graduation with my 82 year old mom, my wife,daughter, and a couple extended family members. The family members left because of the situation. I understand things go wrong but we didnt even get an apology from the owner. Sorry Brad, but you dropped the ball big on this. Other then all those problems the house was ok. PS, if the AC isnt working you can open the windows but the house is directly under the highway,rather noisy. Almost 5000 for a pretty miserable experience

Wonderful Large Family Weekend

Our group of 15 gathered here for a long weekend in July to attend a family event in the area. The house was WONDERFUL, STYLISH & SPACIOUS. And Chesapeake City itself was a surprise bonus… several gift shops, a cute ice cream shop, coffee & breakfast cafe, dinner restaurants - all within walking distance! Loved: everything about the house… proximity to the quaint town… plenty of hot water… awesome AC upstairs…Brad the owner answered emails very quickly… *minor* issues: the main floor AC wasn’t working well so the main area was on the warm side (probably being fixed soon)… 3 bathrooms (only 2 showers) for 15 of us was tricky at times…the tv buffered frequently… blackout curtains in bedrooms would be nice Would definitely stay here again!! We all had a great time!

Great place for families in a charming town

We enjoyed our stay here. We were in town for a family wedding. The MOST important thing to us is cleanliness. This home hit the mark. Thank you for renting a clean home to us for the weekend. Before we arrived, we were wondering about the bed situation since we were all adult couples. This is a 5 bedroom home. BR 1: Two queen beds on first floor with access to bathroom with bathtub only but you walk through the family room to get to it. All other bedrooms are on the second floor BR 2: two queens beds. BR 3:: Two twin beds. BR 4: king bed. There is one small bathroom with shower for the three bedrooms to use. BR 5: Master King bed with en-suite shower. I would stay at this home again in the future without hesitation Negatives:The laundry was left in the washer and dryer when we arrived. Bring your own shampoo and bars of soap. We had to run out and get more toilet paper. For the price we paid, a small gift basket with chips/salsa or a little fruit would have been a nice touch. The home is located below a bridge high above the home. In all honesty, it didn’t bother most of us. Certainly it is not a deal breaker. You could hear it but it didn’t keep us awake. The town is quaint. Go to the Tap Room for a an amazing crab dinner (cash only restaurant) There is a small pastry shop two blocks away. The staff is friendly and they have great breakfast sandwiches, pastries and coffee. We got a wood fired pizza from Chesapeake Inn nearby.

Lovely home for family

It was beautiful! Great place for a large group even when the weather is bad & you have to be inside. I would recommend this property for a stay in Chesapeake City!!!
