The Space
This bright urban retro/modern home features three bedrooms and an open floor plan—perfect for larger families, group getaways, or friends meeting up. The spacious layout allows everyone to gather comfortably while still having private areas to unwind.
• Master Suite: Very spacious, featuring a queen bed, a futon, and plenty of room to relax.
• Second Bedroom: Includes a queen bed with ample closet space and access to a shared bathroom.
• Third Bedroom: Features two queen beds and a private bathroom, making it ideal for families or groups needing extra sleeping space and privacy.
The living room includes three couches that convert to futons, offering additional sleeping options.
Step outside to enjoy the huge backyard, complete with multiple seating areas, scenic views, and a beautiful orange tree—perfect for making freshly squeezed orange juice during your stay.

The Neighborhood
Ocean Beach is a vibrant seaside neighborhood with restaurants, bars, shops, grocery and convenience stores, and the beach all just steps away. Sunset Cliffs, famous for some of the best sunsets in San Diego, is only a short walk or bike ride from the house.
Ocean Beach borders Point Loma, known as “where California began.” This historic peninsula offers easy access to the Pacific Ocean, Downtown San Diego, and the airport. Nearby attractions include SeaWorld San Diego, Conference Center, Ocean Beach Pier, Gaslamp District, Little Italy, Old Town, and more.

Getting Around
Fantastic location! Walk to downtown Ocean Beach restaurants, bars, and the OB Pier and Beach. Downtown, Little Italy, Old Town, SeaWorld, and Petco Park are all a short drive or an easy Uber/Lyft ride. Highways are easily accessible for trips north to La Jolla, Del Mar, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, LEGOLAND, and the Safari Park.

Other Things to Note
I recently purchased this property and am excited to continue offering its great features to the VRBO community. There are two separate units on the property, and I live upstairs in a studio apartment. I travel frequently, so a professional VRBO manager—who has successfully operated the property long before I bought it —ensures seamless stays for our guests. Ongoing improvements are being made to enhance the guest experience.
The home is equipped with an electronic lock for easy, contactless access.

Fabulous OB Trip

Walking distance from everything in OB

Kristin's place was perfect for our group of girls! We loved being walking distance from everything we needed to do in OB and having tons of space to spread out. The large back patio was also a great touch! We'd definitely stay again for our next getaway.

Beautiful spot!

Beautiful floor plan and backyard. Well stocked with outside games and bikes. Celebrated my friends 40th birthday with her family and mine. Close walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay.

Great property/value in aweosme area

Large house with lots of beds and amenities. 2 grills, full kitchen, large outdoor space. Walking distance to tons of cool restaurants and bars. Great for a large trip with friends.

Engagement Weekend

We were in town for our daughter’s engagement (suprise to her). The space was wonderful and the big back yard was great for a brunch celebration for 14 people. Great sleeping spaces too.

Family vacay

Great stay at this San Diego property. Excellent location. Very comfortable lodging. Clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked with utensils and dishes. Lots of beach chairs, toys, towels, and bikes were available to use. Great backyard. Owner was accommodating with an earlier check in to drop off luggage and great communication. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Girls Trip

We decided to book this stay for a girls trip! It was so much fun!! The house has a large yard which we didn't get to utilize as much as we would have liked. The host was very responsive. I definitely would book again.

Great Stay!!!!!

This VRBO has everything . . . comfortably slept 7 adults with room for more. Location was close to dining and had views of the ocean from the living room and backyard. Spacious and well equipped with yard games, speaker, fully stocked kitchen utensils and pillows, bedding and blankets. The host was super accommodating with special requests and very responsive to all our questions. We would definitely book here again.

Beautiful home

I visited San Diego with my husband, our teenage son and my mother. This lovely property was more house than we needed, but we wanted three bedrooms. The home is bathed in natural light, with an ocean view from both the living room and the master bedroom (which is more like a suite). The backyard is huge and gorgeous, again with an ocean view and a fragrant orange tree that the owner encouraged us to enjoy. Ocean Beach is an excellent location for a laid back "staycation"--there are many great coffee shops, restaurants and shops (as well as the beach) within a 5 minute walk. If you have a car, it's just a 15 drive to many of the SD sights like Balboa Park, Mission Beach and La Jolla. The owner was friendly and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again if we return to San Diego!

Ocean Beach Gem

Everything is true to form about the listing. Its a super well maintained property. Great neighborhood with lots of restaurants and liveliness. Its like 3-4 blocks from the entertainment district which is really a perfect distance away. Definitely try the ripe oranges right off the tree in the backyard, deicious. Everything was super smooth and professional about the process. The kitchen is decently furnished and set up nice for dining although if you can be out back thats the best place to hang out. Def keep in mind that the neighbors are pretty close and after 10pm its quiet time. Me and my friends may or may not have lost track of time one evening in that amazing backyard space and needed a gentle reminder it was after 10pm. Time flies when you are having fun...10/10 recommend!

Exceeded all my expectations!

Everything about our stay at Kristen’s Vrbo exceeded my expectations! It was exactly what I was hoping for and more for my boyfriend’s surprise birthday weekend. We had friends coming from out of town so I wanted to find a place that embodied San Diego and all it has to offer. There were beautiful ocean views from the front and back yard, and the house was perfect walking distance to downtown OB. The inside was so clean and spacious, comfortably fitting our group of 10. It was nice how spread out the house was in case some wanted to stay up late and others wanted to go to bed early. Everything was so perfect, but I think the best part of our stay was our communication with Kristen. She was the best host and we were so grateful for all of her help. She was so kind, easy to communicate with, and responded quickly to all of our questions. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience, thank you for making our weekend stay so special!!

Late life bachelorette weekend

We came to town with a group of 9 late 30s-early 50s ladies to celebrate a bachelorette party. Kristen’s house was exactly as described, with plenty of sleeping for all and more than enough room to lounge around. The house and yard were better than expected and I would 100% recommend this place to other groups! Kristen was a very responsive host and super accommodating for our early morning arrival with no rental car, she let us drop our luggage in the garage while the home was finished being cleaned. Super friendly and wonderful to work with, she even left us a little gift during our stay. The house is very clean and in a great location to walk to the beach, dining and shops. Beware of a rather steep incline at the end on your way back, but nothing healthy individuals can’t do. The only “issue” some may have is that the host lives in a separate home above the rental. This was not an issue for our group, but something to note.

Beautiful home

The place was in a perfect location, with an amazing backyard and beautiful views. We even saw fireworks each night from the table out back. You get your exercise walking up the hill, but it’s just the right amount. I would definitely recommend staying here for a centralized spot in ocean beach.

Perfect location

Great spot

The location and house are amazing for a friend trip to San Diego. It is a short walk to Ocean Beach and a quick trip to Mission Beach and the airport. The backyard and having access to cornhole and bikes was great too. We did a bachelor party and for 9 guys comfortably and tried to mind the noise ordinance as much as we could.

Great Location & Back Yard!

Overall we had a wonderful time at this home, it’s very centrally located in Ocean Beach, easy to walk to everything down on Newport, definitely a steeper road and driveway, but the views from the backyard were amazing & it has a very open living floorplan. The middle bedroom is a bit of a pass-through to get to the back bedroom, so good to know there’s not a ton of privacy in the layout, unless the back bedroom goes outside to get to the kitchen, but overall we had a wonderful time & Kristen was very responsive & helpful!

So close to the beach

Our priority was to be able to walk to the beach and we were about ten minutes walking distance - perfect. We loved the backyard and orange tree and spent as much time outside as we could. Thank you for your hospitality

So much fun!

Such a fun weekend. House was so pretty and we were pleasantly surprised to how big it was! Yard was great and we enjoyed fresh oranges from the tree!

Amazing space, backyard(with orange tree), and views! Great location, walking distance to downtown OB and the beach, and a short car app ride to downtown, Little Italy, Petco Park, Old town. You are able to see the Sea World fireworks from here as well!
