The house was exactly as described. Communication with the host was great, very quick to respond. The only downfall, was nothing to do with this property. But the rooster directly across from this property. Had us all up at 5:30am and went ALL day, he very much liked to be heard! lol

Amazing stay!

Great place to relax after our busy city visits, was located in a quiet neighbourhood just a short drive to the beach. The layout suited our family and the outside areas were lovely to relax in and enjoy the lake and sunshine. Would definitely use again if we visit Galveston in the future.

Fun house for a Galveston stay

Perfect house for a quick weekend getaway for my family to do a little fishing, hang out on the beach, and hit up local restaurants. The house was a comfortable fit for us and had everything we needed. We loved having the deck to hang out together outside (make sure you bring mosquito spray!). Also saw some prior reviews but wanted to mention the AC worked great

The house is in great location! It’s roomy and the backyard with the deck is so nice!! There was a cat that perched on the back porch whining and acting like it wanted in. I tapped on the window and it ran off.

Gareth and the Rest & Enjoy Vacation Rentals team have been hosting guests in Galveston since 2019 and know this island inside and out. With a portfolio of properties across Galveston's best neighborhoods, our goal is simple — make every stay feel like coming home.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We bought Lakeview Landing because there's simply nothing else like it in Galveston. Most waterfront rentals put you on the Seawall — beautiful, but noisy and crowded. Madeline Lake gives you calm water, a private dock, and a boat lift, with the Gulf just five minutes away when you want it. Then there's the walkability: Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn are both an easy walk from the front door. I've watched guests walk to the water park in the morning, come back to relax on the multi-level deck in the afternoon, and watch the sunset over the lake that evening. That combination — lake + attractions + beach proximity — is genuinely rare. We've put real care into making the house comfortable for groups, and we're always available if you need anything. — Rest & Enjoy Vacation Rentals
