We absolutely loved our stay at this condo! The location was so convenient, and the lazy river was one of our favorite parts—we spent a lot of time enjoying it.Communication was fast, easy, and very helpful throughout our stay. Check-in was also a breeze! We especially loved that we didn’t have to stop at an office or wait in line. We were able to go straight to the condo and get settled as soon as we arrived, which made everything so convenient. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.

The condo unit was superb. Our 3 generation family was so comfortable with the amount of space and accommodations provided. The kitchen was very well stocked with supplies (we ate in almost every meal for a week). The kids enjoyed the lazy river a lot.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful condo, beautiful property. We absolutely loved the lazy river and pools. One complaint - it stormed Thursday morning - came down with blue sky’s and property staff were yelling at guests to go back to their rooms and were not nice about it at all. I found this very off putting.

We’re so glad you enjoyed Destin West Heron 501 and the lazy river and pools. We’re sorry the on-site staff’s approach during the storm felt off-putting — that’s not the experience we want for our guests. We’ll share your feedback with the property team so weather advisories are handled more professionally. We’d love to welcome you back.

Condo was very nice. It was well equipped and had plenty of space for our party of 8. The beautiful patio we greatly enjoyed watching all of the wildlife and boats coming and going. The only downfall for us was the beach. It was a bit of a walk for my elderly in-laws and was much more crowded than where we stayed out in Santa Rosa last year. It is definitely a great place to stay if you enjoy eating out with many options near by. Photo is from the fireworks at the Pier that we were able to see from the balcony.
