Overall, the cabin was great! Host were fantastic, the check-in and out process was great. The cabin was stocked better than most any cabin we have rented. The only knock is the pictures of the “view” was not what was expected, but the surrounding area makes it easy to go walk and see some amazing views. The wildlife was abundant which is always a bonus. The driveway seems a little tight at first, but I was able to make it no problem with an f-250. I would stay here again for the price it’s hard to beat.

We absolutely loved the cabin! It is easy to get to and convenient to Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need to cook a meal, minus food. There were so many games and dvds to enjoy. The best things to us were the swing and rocking chairs to enjoy the peace and quiet and listen to the rain. The beds were very comfortable and didn’t bother my back! The owners are very nice and friendly and respond as quickly as they can to a message or phone call. They make you feel so welcome. I would highly recommend this cabin! We hope to be able to come back again.

A gal's weekend away

My mom, aunt and I stayed here for a long girls weekend and LOVED our stay ; the cabin is full equipped, we basically only needed to bring a change of clothes - they LITERALLY thought of everything. I would recommend staying at the Lazy Bear cabin, hands down. If you are coming to Blue Ridge or Ellijay, stay in Bill's cabin, you will not regret it.

This place was absolutely perfect for a relaxing weekend away for my girlfriend and me. It was very well appointed; I cooked dinner the first night with no trouble at all, and the bathroom had everything we needed. The beds and double recliner in the living room were super comfy. My girlfriend can’t sleep well in a bed due to a medical issue and said the recliner was perfect for a good night’s rest. Communication with the hosts was clear and timely. There were some pretty major bumps in a couple of the gravel roads, but nothing most cars can’t handle when taken slow. Easy drive to downtown Blue Ridge. Would stay again for sure.

Ultimate retreat! The cabin was clean and cozy. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch, listening to the birds, and watching the deer wander by. We accidentally locked ourselves out and our hosts were quick to respond with assistance. The beds were a bit firm for us, but as that’s really personal preference, it doesn’t detract from our review.
