Family friendly, ask about pets, quiet rural neighborhood on pristine Norris lake, 15 minutes from I-75 exit 122, view of Sequoyah Marina, access to private dock with covered 28' boat slip. Contact owner for details regarding handicapped/ partial wheelchair access. 3 BR, 2 bath + Outdoor shower, beds for 8 people: 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Trundle beds (= 4 beds), PLUS 2 sleeper sofas: 1 Queen & 1 Single, + 2 Futons. 2 Smart TV's, Central Heat & Air, Gas Stove, Washer & Dryer, Fire Pit, Gas Grill, Commercial Ice Maker, Wine Refrigerator, Coffee Bar/Bar stocked with limited Keurig coffee pods, and hot chocolate. Fully furnished kitchen, we also furnish bed linens, kitchen towels, bath towels, toilet paper, bath soap, and laundry soap. We do ask you to BRING YOUR OWN BEACH TOWELS for use at the lake. Enjoy evening breezes relaxing in Screened Porch with ceiling fan/light offering serene view of the lake, Sun Room & large front deck facing the lake with gas BBQ. Minutes to Sequoyah Marina, Norris Dam State Park and The Museum of the Appalachia, minutes to antique lovers shopping paradise in downtown Clinton, One hour to Windrock Park off-road adventure, also a great area for hikers and bikers. One hour to Pigeon Forge, Dollywood & Gatlinburg, 30 minutes from downtown Knoxville, one hour from McGee/ Tyson airport. 2 Driveways. NO STEPS to back door when parking from rear driveway off of Sequoyah Road. That is best way to load and unload. Front driveway off of Shore Loop is best for parking vehicles, trailers, etc. That entrance has some stairs up to front door from deck. Extended fall stay

Wonderful cottage in peaceful setting. This property excided our needs with plenty of room for friends and family! Ginger, our host, was very very accommodating. She meet us at check-in and responded to and questions we had quickly. She arranged a .mid stay cleaning for us. I have stayed a many homes and tge location of this one was great...beatiful lake sunsets!! host

Awesome stay!!

We can’t say enough great things about this property. It is the perfect location with a great view and easy flat access to the dock. It has everything you need, is very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Great screened in porch and front deck. The fire pit area is a great place to sit and listen to the water. It’s very close to boat rentals also. A perfect getaway!

Great Spot on the Lake!

On the plus side, the location was great, lots of kitchen/laundry supplies were on hand, the club house was really fun, and the boat dock closed the deal for us. On the minus side, several cameras on the perimeter of the house made it slightly uncomfortable, and the beds weren't comfortable (the Master is "fixed" by something placed in between the mattress and box spring which creates a big hump in the middle of the bed. Overall, though, it was a wonderful stay with lots of outdoor AND indoor space and a beautiful view!

This was a great trip. Everything was as stated on the listing. The owners did a fantastic job in communicating with use about the property. The house was very clean and boat dock was very well maintained. We will definitely be staying there again

Family Time

We had an awesome time - the house was wonderful and the view incredible!!! Coffee and breakfast on the screened in porch and family time on the back deck. Grill was great as my husband cooked burgers, hot dogs and steaks!!! The dock was great as my cousin pulled her boat up and took us on great rides on the lake. Also, great for swimming and sun bathing!! Ginger and Steve were great and pampered us - thank you!!! All in all a great time and we will be back!!!

Beautiful, quiet week at the lake!

Our lives are very busy with work and kids' sports and activities, so for Thanksgiving, we really wanted a quiet, relaxing week to just spend quality time together. This lake house gave us exactly what we were looking for! We enjoyed fishing, using the "clubhouse" game room, and there was plenty of space in the house for all of us to spread out and relax. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook meals, and the beds were clean and comfortable. The area is beautiful, and the lake is clear and calm. We would definitely return! Thanks Ginger!

Family Memories!

We had a wonderful stay! Ginger was so communicative and really did everything possible to make our stay pleasant. We were there on a multigenerational family trip and the space worked well for us. It was wonderful to have our own private dock.This home is on a quiet part of the lake which meant our time on the water was all the more relaxing. The Sequoyah Marina is just a short 5 minute boat ride away provided a fun evening on Friday nights with live music and great wings! We enjoyed a beautiful hike at Triple Falls. Our first visit to Norris Lake and the clear water and peaceful surroundings created some wonderful family memories!

Big lot

Had lots of fun. Plenty of room for our family. We did lots of fishing and swimming. We caught blue gill catfish and long nose gars from the dock. We enjoyed the game room when we were done at the lake. Plenty of wood for the fire pit. The property is on the channel which we were not use to we usually stay in the cove. Also to get to the dock there is a road you have to cross that we didnt notice in the pictures. Ginger and Steve were easy to reach for any questions or concerns.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

This was our second stay, and we absolutely love it! It is extremely peaceful and serene with all the trees and view of the lake. The house is perfect for our family, and the accommodations are always neat and clean. The host and hostess think of everything to make the stay comfortable and relaxing. We will be back!!!

This is a story about a country girl and city boy. I was born and raised in Chattanooga and moved to California in the 1980's where I met Steve. He was born in Chicago but raised in Tarzana, CA. As we approached retirement, we discussed moving to TN where I have family. LA was becoming "Hell-A". For us it was either going to be Lake Chickamauga in Chattanooga, or Norris Lake. Norris Lake won because my daughter and son-in law live in the Knoxville area.

In 2009 we purchased our home here but we did not move here full time until 2013. At that time Steve retired from Northrup Grumman and I retired from my profession as a dental hygienist. Steve, being a work-a-holic now works in facility maintenance for the University of TN. I am happy to be the full time Queen domestic engineer.

The home in which we live is 2 doors away from Lake Lovers Oasis. We are "hands-on" property managers.

This property is minutes from I-75, exit #122. Great area for recreation all year long. Other than the obvious lake activities available from March 1st - October 1st (ish), this area boasts hiking and biking trails, access to State Parks and other attractions. UT fans are 30 minutes from Neyland Stadium for those VOL home games. It is a place for fishermen, hunters, family gatherings, work retreats, and enjoying nature. We believe once you have stayed with us, you will want to come back time and time again.

Being flat makes this property unique. The deck is 100 yards from the lake. Year-round water, covered boat slip. We have several views of Norris Lake, one of which is Sequoyah Marina. The house is completely renovated and we have tried to think like vacationers as we planned renovations. We want our guests to interact with us and make suggestions as to how we can improve it so they will want to come back year after year.

Available 4 seasons with discounts from Fall to Spring. 10% discounts to verified military & veterans; thank you for your service! We will also give multi-week discounts for city folks wanting to distance themselves from city life for a while. The high speed Internet will allow people to work from home if they are lucky enough to have a job allowing them that freedom. We are close to Wal-Mart, gas stations, restaurants, and other amenities. They are just not walking distance like they might be in the city. Vega Café in Norris, "maybe" 10 minutes away, is open Wednesday- Sunday and offers 5-Star meals prepared by Chef John Fletcher.

TJ Fuel is our nearest convenience store for those items you may have forgotten or for 100% gas at a reasonable price. We also have 2- 5 gal. gas containers you are welcome to borrow if you want to run down to TJ's for fuel and avoid paying marina prices. Our commercial ice maker keeps you covered on ice.

For stocking up on groceries, we suggest Archer's Market across the street from Vega Café in Norris, has a bigger selection, a butcher to provide special cuts of meat, and stocks a generous selection of craft beers, wine.

We live two doors away from Lake Lovers Oasis and don't mind you contacting us if you need help with something while you are visiting. 2022 was our first season. So far, all of our guests have given us 5-star reviews; and, we look forward to doing our best to provide our guests with everything they expect for a stellar vacation experience. We welcome suggestions for improvement.
