Gulf Shores, Alabama is a family-friendly beachfront town. Some activities include: charter fishing boats, boat & jet ski rentals, parasailing, dolphin cruises, sunset sailboat cruises, beautiful back bays for boating, tubing, skiing and fishing, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, amusement parks, great restaurants with entertainment for all ages, golf, outlet malls, shopping, live concerts at The Wharf Amphitheater, and of course, plenty of powder-white sand.

Policies:
1. Check in is 4pm | Check out is 10am.
2. Two parking passes are included in your quoted price ($30 each for short-term stays/$50 each for monthly stays, prices subject to change) and will be delivered to your condo before you arrive. They must be displayed in your windshield.
3. No Smoking in home or on balcony.
4. Two Dogs up to 25lbs welcome, $250 non-refundable dog fee per animal; pre-registration is required.
5. Please be advised that dogs are not permitted to use the bathroom on the property. All dogs must be walked off-site for bathroom breaks.
6. Loud parties or gatherings will not be tolerated.
7. Must be at least 25 years old to rent. For groups of Single Adults, all guests in the group must be at least 25 years of age and proof of age will be required before approving the reservation.

The property was beautiful and well located. It needed a few upgrades and there were a few little things missing but nothing we couldn't do without. It was nice to have both indoor and outdoor pools since there were a couple of stormy days. The balcony is wonderful for having morning coffee or unwinding with a drink before bed.

Elevator was tore up several times we had to take the steps to the 6th floor 1 and 3 year old grand son that to walk up the steps. It was horrible. My disabled parents couldnt even leave the room.

Perfect Area! Close to so much

We had a great time, the building was being painted but we never were in the way. The pool and our unit was perfect. I would definitely use this place again.

We had a great time! The balcony is amazing. There was construction going on, but it wasn’t too bad and didn’t interfere with our stay. Great price!

Compass Point is not pet friendly at all. There are signs everywhere, saying no pets. Don’t be mislead by the room post. Some rooms allow pets, but you must walk them off property. There is an office onsite with two live in workers, who police the rules. The room itself was fine, other than the floor being pretty dirty upon arrival. The grounds were ok. A bit dirty in and around the pool. Location is great. Easy beach and bay access. Check in and out instructions were simple. Other than that, no communication with host.

Compass Point is pet friendly; however, as with many condominium properties, pets must be walked in designated areas to help keep the grounds clean and sanitary for all guests. We’re sorry the HOA’s signage did not feel welcoming to you or your furry family member. We were surprised to hear there was a lack of communication, as our Reservations and Property Care Teams send several messages before, during, and after each stay to provide information, check in, and ensure everything is just right. Regrettably, we did not hear from you regarding the flooring or any other concerns during your stay, so we were not given the opportunity to address them before this review was posted. We’re glad you enjoyed the convenient check-in process, location, and easy access to both the beach and bay. We hope you’ll visit the area again, and perhaps one of our pet-friendly single-family beach homes would be a better fit for your next stay.

Beautiful location

My family & I were very pleased with this condo & it's location. The property details are exactly what they say! The condo was plenty big for the 6 of us & the view is gorgeous! Will definitely book in the future!

This place was like walking into bliss. It fully exceeded our expectations. It was cozy,quiet,clean& perfectly decorated. Almost felt like every part of the place was handpicked for us. It was a great experience. I look foward to going again . Perfect spot .

The Besties Best Trip

This was our first of many Besties Trip. We have been friends since the six grade. When I sent out several vacay properties in the area, we all agreed on the same one. The condo was just as pictured just in HD in person. The beach is truly a 5 min walk. We enjoyed the whole experience!

Just a getaway

Unit itself was wonderful, listing was saying freshly renovated, the unit could be, but the property was under renovation a lot of noise early morning for a vacation place, dirty and at the end the elevator broke, being at the 6th floor was very inconvenient

We did share details of the work at the time of booking so guests could review the information and decide whether to move forward, cancel, or select an alternative property within the free cancellation period. That said, we’re sorry the elevator issues at the end of your stay created an inconvenience, especially being on a higher floor—that’s certainly not the kind of departure experience we want for our guests. We’re happy to report that construction at Compass Point is now complete and all amenities are up and running. It’s truly a special place, and we’d love the opportunity to welcome you back for another stay—this time with peaceful lagoon views, great walkability, and a fully functioning elevator.

Great views of gulf and lak

The area is beautiful and loved the close access to beach. We found several issues with the condo which should have been caught by the management company prior to our arrival. I contacted the management company and they only addressed one of seven issues during our 3 week stay.

Construction warning

The condo was very nice and everything was furnished that we needed. Loved the surround outdoor deck. Beautiful views! The building is undergoing a rehab. A little confusing when we arrived trying to find the elevator. Worst problem is construction noise and dust. Forget trying to take a nap during the day. If you are out and about during the daytime, the construction won’t bother you.

We had fun. The condo itself was very nice. I feel like we should have been told before booking about construction. Overall, it didn't affect us. The lighting needs to be better in the elevator. There needs to be more paper products provided. I'm on vacation. I shouldn't have to think about toilet paper.

Great view! Short walk to the Beach!

The location is great! The view from the porch was amazing. The condo was clean. The beds comfy. The only issues were the microwave stopped working and we never guven a solution during the stay. Our main complaint was there was construction going on during our stay. They were grinding on the exterior which at times was very loud. We were notified before had about the construction but it was still annoying. All that said it wasn't enough to ruin our stay. We would definatly stay here again after the construction is over.
