My husband and I stayed here for a week in May with our two young kids. The condo is as described and the photos are accurate. We noticed an ant problem right away and bought ant traps, but that didn't help. It wasn't a big deal, so we didn't contact the owner. The building is quiet and in a good location. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time, which was nice.
Our problem began after we got home. During booking, we noticed an $89 "protection plan" fee that we couldn't opt of, so we contacted the owner to see what this was. She said she didn't know, but she would send us a check for the $89 because she wasn't worried about money. After booking and reading the protection plan info, it stated that we had to contact the owner if we didn't want this coverage, which we did before booking. I have contacted the owner 4 times and she hasn't gotten back to me. She was fine about keeping in contact at first, but hasn't responded since I this issue. I have a feeling I will not be getting the $89 back. :(. Because of the lack of resolution and the lack of response, I gave the property 2 stars-in my opinion, this overshadows anything else about the property.
