The house is centrally located, peaceful, newly renovated, 2-bedroom/1-bath guest home. The cozy guest house includes 1 queen bed in each bedroom. It is the 2nd home on a large private/secure lot in a safe neighborhood, includes large private patio. The house is very close to the Rose Bowl, the Rose Parade route, CalTech, JPL, museums, Old Town Pasadena

We loved staying in this cottage. The location was ideal -- very close to shops and restaurants. It was clean and comfortable, with two nice bedrooms, updated bath, and fully equipped kitchen. Communication with the host was easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay! Very nice space in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to a grocery store, donut shop, etc., which were very close by. Also, walking distance just a little farther to many fast food places, Walgreens, etc. The space itself was very nice! Comfortable beds, nice kitchen & bathroom. Highly recommended!

Wonderful area to stay in. We loved the history of Pasadena. Close to so many attractions such as Griffith Observatory, Atwater Village, Huntington Library and Gardens, Old Pasadena. The neighborhood is walkable to Bungalow Heaven and other historic areas. The parking is tight but doable. The little house had everything we needed. Gloria was super responsive to any questions I had. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

Met all our expectations

This property met our expectations. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. Very well stocked with everything we needed. Fabulous outdoor space which was almost as big as the home.

4 Days Of Fun

Great location to see and enjoy all that Pasadena, and the surrounding area, has to offer. Gloria was easy to communicate with and has made sure that her guests are very comfortable. Well equipped, very clean and thoughtfully appointed with everything you need for your stay.

Perfect Place in Pasadena

Everything about the City of Roses Retreat exceeded our expectations. It was just the type of place we wanted! Gloria was a great host, and provided us with everything we could have needed. When we come back to Pasadena, this place will be at the top of our list. ☺️

Lovely place with a great patio

It was everything for a fun weekend going to the Rose 🌹 Bowl. Cute cottage with all the amenities. Since we were 5 adults, we were grateful to the additional bed in the mini cottage. The host was extremely prompt in responses ( even when out of the country!)

Our Rose Parade Adventure

The listing was as advertised - but the patio was a great plus - a private oasis near the Pasadena Rose Parade route. Gloria was responsive and a great host.

Great location to visit Presidential libraries and museums.

The property was just right for the 2 of us. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. We chose this location because we planned to visit both Nixon's and Reagan's Presidential museums and possibly downtown L.A. We had plenty of towels, the beds were comfy and the host graciously provided coffee and necessaries. Gloria checked in by text frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The patio area is lovely.

I have lived in Pasadena for the last 10 years and grew up in the adjacent city of Eagle Rock. I went to high school and college in Los Angeles so I am familiar with all that this city has to offer. I work locally so I am able to provide support toi my guests should they need anything during their stay.

The home is located in a quiet residential area. The guest house is a small but spacious 675 sq. ft. home with 2-bedrooms with Queen beds, (one has French doors leading to a sunny patio area) each with a smart TV, modern bathroom with shower and tub, a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, Wi-Fi w/ Hulu and Netflix, a desk for studying/working, a small dining area, private patio with chaise lounge chairs and outdoor dining/sitting area, outdoor fire tower, gas BBQ, on-site laundry room with washer/dryer/drying rack, and central heating and air.

Included in your stay: clean linens and towels (laundered w/ hypoallergenic laundry detergent that is free of dyes and perfumes) , make up towel, misc. complimentary toiletries gift (1), shampoo, conditioner (TRESemme Moisture Rich w/ Vit. E), body wash (Dove Sensitive Skin), all kitchen supplies to cook (except groceries) real and paper plates, cups, napkins, coffee, tea, small propane bbq grill, washer/dryer, laundry detergent, fabric softener, beach towels, free secure parking spot (1), board games.

Feel free to take your coffee or a glass of wine and sit outside in the patio area next to the fit pit and see the sun rise or set and listen to the famous Pasadena Parrots which fly by every morning around 6:00/6:30 a.m. and every evening around 6:00/6:30 p.m. (you can't miss their squawking).

Or take some popcorn and movie snacks to the patio and enjoy an outdoor movie night under the moon and stars snuggled under blankets

Sits in a beautiful and very quite neighborhood where you can take long walks in the near perfect year round weather. Super safe with lots of charming homes on tree lined streets. The space is 10 minute drive to the Pasadena Rosebowl. The locations is perfect for enjoying Pasadena as it is centrally located and also for exploring Los Angeles. Afterwards you can come home and unwind, take a bath, watch a movie or BBQ on the patio. Full kitchen allows you to make your meals and save money during your stay. However, Pasadena does offer tons of great restaurants, diners, bars, wine shops to enjoy or you can order from Grubhub if you want to stay in and not cook.
