Great summer getaway

This place is in a great location and was more than spacious enough for my family of 5. The hot tub and large front deck for bbq’s were the perfect amenities!

I am so glad you enjoyed your stay at the cabin. I am so glad we added that deck last fall. That has been such a nice addition to the cabin. Thank you for the great review.

Great location at a reasonable cost

The owner is ease to reach and super friendly and helpful. Cabin was warm enough, which I was worried I would be cold, and a great location. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

This is one of the best rentals we have stayed in! It was SUPER clean, and had a comfortable, cozy vibe with everything we needed. The loft area was perfect for our three kids, and the downstairs bedroom has a very comfortable bed. The location is great - quiet peaceful area with other cabins, yet just a 5-10 minute drive to stores and restaurants. The hot tub was a fun bonus! Great stay, highly recommend.

Great classic A-Frame

This was a great classic A-frame cabin that has been recently renovated and upgraded. The cabin has everything you need, and is in a great location for access to Schweitzer, which is just a short drive or you can literally walk and catch the shuttle which is a block away. The cabin also has a good hot tub to soak the sore bones after a day of skiing. Our family of five enjoyed the place and will be back!

Perfect location at Base of Schweitzer!

We came here for a quick, 4 Day ski trip with our three children and had a great time. The house was fully stocked with typical items you find in your own home. The host was very responsive and professional. Starlink Internet, gas fireplace, hot tub on back patio were all awesome amenities! Thanks again!

Ok stay, pretty noisy and updates needed

Came with 3 adults and 2 kids. Property was fine and had most necessary items but we wouldn’t stay here again. The house is extremely close to the main road to the ski area, with a lot of loud traffic starting at 5/6 am and continuing most of the evening as there is night skiing at Schweitzer. The house is directly across the road from train tracks, with multiple trains running night and day. The tracks are so close that the train passing shakes the house. Not trying to be rude, just want folks to be aware that this is not included in the home description and it's quite disruptive. Pots/pans were rusted, scratched, and missing lids. Internet was very spotty and went in/out frequently. Generally the property needs some TLC and there were no extra touches to make it a nice stay. For the price we expected better. Communication with host and entry to the property was easy.

Please be aware that train tracks are nearby and the train runs day and night. There will be intermittent train noise. Clearly disclosed information regarding the train tracks. You did not follow check out procedures and you broke some clips on my hot tub. That is why you got a poor review. I am happy you won't be staying at my property again. Happy New Year!

Great spot a bit out of town for a Sandpoint weekend. Access to town was easy but it was nice having a bit of space as well. A few notes for other travelers: we heard the train a few times a day and at night. Also would not stay here with children or older adults who wouldn't be confident on the sprial staircase. We would absolutely stay at Scott's place again, he was very helpful with a surprise power outage that lasted an hour or so.

Everything was great honestly, except one thing that betrayed the "peace and quiet" claim. There is a train crossing very close, and the train blares it's horn on approach. This was every hour through the night, also shaking the beds upstairs (which isn't a problem), but I was awake every hour. This could be a seasonal thing, maybe it's not like this on other weeks.

Great Location

Enjoyed our stay here. Great location on the edge of Sandpoint and at the base of Schweitzer Mtn. No Wifi and no TV service but these things don't matter to us on vacation.

Relaxing weekend

My husband and I had a nice relaxing weekend at this cute A-frame home. Nice location close to the mountain and the beach. Scott was great and easy to communicate with. Only complaint would be that there wasn’t cable tv or Wi-Fi. If you are looking to unplug and get away this is the perfect place.
