The cabins are a real gem -- right on the water and super comfortable for families/friends traveling together while allowing for some private space (four bedrooms, two baths, two kitchens). These are not the Hyatt, so if that's what you like, this may not be for you. We like clean, homey and love being right on the beach, so they're perfect for us! Parking is alongside a kind of busy road. The space easily fits three standard- to large cars (four smaller.) For safety, park so your car faces the traffic flow (east?) and park close to the fence for safety entering and exiting the car along the fairly busy street. There is a rather steep set of stairs leading down from the parking space to the cabins. My 91-year-old mother navigated them well, but it's something to consider if a family member has mobility issues. One cabin has a drip coffeemaker, the other a Keurig. Both have plenty of glasses, cutlery, pots and pans. If you rely on a blow-dryer, bring one! Also, shampoo and bath soap. Host asks that you bring your own sheets and towels, but if that's not possible, just ask in advance. We've visited twice with different family members — aged 5 to 91 — and everyone absolutely loves this wonderful opportunity to experience the best of Vermont.
